Nifol, 16 Oct 2023No card slot, no 3.5mm jack, slow USB2 and only 6.4" s... morewym only 6.4" ? this thing should get smaller not bigger, you want the big display, go buy the Pro phone and let us have a freaking one handed pocket phone

                      is this a Joke ?
I've been in the market looking for a "compact" lightweight one handed pocket phone for the past few weeks and I've been quite disappointed at the lack of options, let me elaborate:

No, The Zenfone 10 is too small for me and that thing is too thicc for its own size(9.4mm for a 5.9" phone makes it look like a brick) , it's not as sleek as other brands, also its only getting 2 years of OS updates for a 700$ phone in 2023 ? that's a joke Asus

No, The iPhone 15 only has 20W slow charging and I can't tolerate 60hz displays anymore especially for an 800$ phone !!

No, the Pixel 7A has ugly display with those thick bezels, it looks like 2020 budget phone! and dont even mention the *18W* snail charge

No, the Motorola Edge 30 Neo has a budget Chipset

No, the Xperia 5 V is 21:9, it's only 6.1" but it's as tall as 6.4" normal phones and as narrow as the 5.9" Zenfone 10, yeah good luck texting with this phone (also only 2 yrs of OS updates lmao)

The Pixel 8 is a "meh", it's quite bigger AND heavier to my liking + the Tensor G3 is barely as powerful as last year's 8 gen1 or this year's MIDRANGE 7gen2 and only 27W charge so yeah quite the compromises ...

The Galaxy S23 is as Perfect as it can get for the compact phones, 6.1", 168g, 120Hz, SD 8 Gen2 (No Exynos bullshit), 4years OS updates! literally the only thing that's lacking is the fastcharge, only 25W ...
Which is why i've been looking at Xiaomi if they can fix that but i found out that the Mi 13 (6.36") has gotten even bigger than the Mi 12 (6.28") but since the recently announced Pixel 8 has gotten smaller than Pixel 7, I was hoping Xiaomi would get the message that there actually is a market and competition for compact phones, I expected the Mi 14 would also get smaller to at least 6.2" BUT NO these idiots decided to make it even bigger to 6.44"!! Like what the f*ck is the point of making a larger 6.7" pro phone if you also keep making the base model bigger and bigger, god am so triggered
guess imma just stick with the S23 for now

The problem is with the prices they're charging now is that their software isn't as good.

hardware has always been great. the reason people like Samsung are expensive is because they're software is excellent.

You can't be charging top tier prices while still having glitches in your OS. Adverts built into it. And annoying notifications that you can't disable.

Is there any confirmation for the announcement on 27/10

BBoyDoma, 19 Oct 2023Xiaomi is becoming like apple with their prices, I remember... moreThe better the parts which costs them more, ends up making the device more expensive. Xiaomi werent really a flagship known brand till the mi 10 really, most of their phones were budget orientated phones or what we classed as "flagship killers" really like the original pocophone (flagship performance but lacking in a full array of flagship features).

Really they are in line with pricing with the rest (which is fair for the quality of device you get) and usually plenty of places that'll do them cheap (dending where you are).
