Anonymous, 15 Jun 2024Using last century 3.5mm analog connection and complaing ab... moreAudio is analogue.
Musics and Voices get saved via sampling methods.

They can never ever store whole audio in digital format as AUDIO IS ANALOGUE.

For playing, your phone converts digital to analogue via DAC that is integrated in SoC.

The difference between wired and wireless headphones is that wireless headphones has built in DACs that are far lower quality because of their limits (weight, size, etc)

But spund quality of wired premium headphones like those designed and produced by beardynamics, senheiser, shure, grado and some other PREMIUM brands are far superior to anything else.

    Audio technology is mature.
Being old isn't a reason to remove a completely mature technology.

Yet another person complaining about something stupid... Have you ever heard of the book DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF?
I would much rather have a physical sim card!

The only thing I'm upset about, is ALL PHONES should he released GLOBALLY the same time they are released in China!
and I DON'T mean in India... I mean GLOBALLY!

no e-sim no sell. Another Chinese garbage again.

Did anyone buy or use this phone outside India and face any issues with 4g or 5g connectivity? I see that it only covers certain bands.

got this beauty few days back, looks wow, feels wow, back is amazing and Leica lenses do their job.In cons -no idea about its ip rating, speaker volume is too low and gets hot after intense use.

FreeBird, 30 Jun 2024Any update about the review?? Apparently not. But they've had the phone in for review for just about 10 days, so it's not been that long, considering the whole other devices they got in for review. I'm actually wondering where is the nubia Flip review or if we're even going to see it; it's been in for review for a long time now

Checked this phone, phone is good, display is really good.
                    Cons are :
                    1) GetApps and other bloatware can't be uninstalled
                    2) Speaker volume is low and low quality
                    3) Battery life is poor

Haseeb.k, 25 Jun 2024I still don't know why people complain about freakin 3... moreSo just because companies don't want 3.5 jack so they can sell thier air buds and we should accept that and if we don't we are old school huh ? Bro wether you comprehense this or not you are part of the problem because people like you accept anything that these companies throw at us don't you see first was the sd card then the 3.5 jack and then the charger and now they want to remove the sim card but i guess we should not complain because we live in 2024 you know how smart you sound

                          Flat screen ?

I still don't know why people complain about freakin 3.5 mm crap. Literally there are excellent ear buds with very low pricing giving excellent sound quality as compared to 3.5 mm jack. Come on its 2024 get over it

Its just better to have one number and mention some tag to it
                              like all 2024 models 14 with 14 civi, 14, 14 pro etc
so for India this name seems apt

Zepnixorial, 20 Jun 2024What the hell is a Xiaomi 14 civi isn't this a civi 4 proDuh... Yes it is! Xiaomi does this rebranding crap ALL THE TIME, instead of just making 2 models... One for precious China and one for THE REST of the world!

Pretty soon we are gonna have landfills all over the world, with nothing but old used phones (and new ones that never sell) because companies like Samsung and Xiaomi, feel the need to spit out new phones like candy! 😒🙄

What the hell is a Xiaomi 14 civi isn't this a civi 4 pro

Cpt.Power, 15 Jun 2024If this only had a global release it could be a massive hit.Would it be too expensive though? Based on Chinese and Indian pricing and Xiaomi's normal European pricing I think it would be between €650-€800 in Europe depending on storage (the very minimum would be €650 but it would likely start around €700 as €650 would be less than Xiaomi commonly marks up the price. Not sure it'd be a big hit in Europe given the likely price. Sales in China don't appear to be that great based on the number of reviews coz the price isn't that cheap for the specs on offer even in China. Flaghips like the Realme GT5 pro are the same price now in China and last year's Xiaomi 13's official price is now lower in China. Actually the Xiaomi 13 is probably a better phone than the Xiaomi 14 Civi overall. Being a hit would depend on the price.
