SD... moreThey're probably commenting here because they aren't busy consuming and buying new phones every year that have the same features, and keep using their devices with micro sd cards and headphone jacks, and get more and more irritated when phones they like don't have the features, yet more happy with their current device that does have those features.

You keep telling people to move on, people like me will hold on to their phones forever and buy cheaper and cheaper ones (and older ones) that have more features than the latest and "greatest" phones can offer. Also, micro sd cards keep getting cheaper and cheaper while subscriptions on the other hand are constant and keep going up. "buy mah data loss", then back up your data. It's your responsibility.

        Just move on. Cloud storage and flash drives are less likely to spoil than SD cards. In fact, there's one which offers 1tb of free cloud storage!

                Ravenowl, 15 Nov 2023I did, but I just clarified to make sure you, and possibly ... moreI think most people who has built a PC understands, as it is painfully obvious, and for those that haven't, the comment is irrelevant anyways.

                We don't call M.2 NVMe SSDs by the full name nor for NVMe where I live as it is less efficient (language wise) than M2-disc and everyone who knows about computers understands what is meant, and while it historically has been possible to buy M.2 SATA SSDs, nobody building a modern day PC would do that. Nor can they, in my region at least. There are zero M.2 SATA SSDs to be found new, only NVMe SSDs using the M.2 form factor. Hence when it comes to storage M.2 is synonymous with NVMe, in my region.

                Side note, even in car names we simplify for our language.
                Whilst in English they say "Bee, Emm, Double U (which is hilarious as it is a double v [w]), we just same "BMV" for "BMW". Simpler, faster and everyone who knows about cars understands it.

                      I truly like this phone at least by the specs but the way xiaomi wants to push Customers to "not unlock" their phones will make me to rethink and go for OnePlus 12 .... when comes on the market.

SD cards are very prone to failure and you absolutely would want to avoid using any. Maybe a usable cope for dumpster tier phones that one buys because...one is poor. And SD cards make for very cheap extra storage. But no idea why they're commenting here, because phones like this are way out of their budget.

                                    no offense but some of the people are just cant stop complaining about sd card slot..just get out of it ..i mean 1Tb is still not enough?what do you want to do?copy data in sd card and put it in ur pocket?if you want to move it to pc just use data cable or if you still want to dump some data seperately just go with otg
