Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro launch date is official

Xiaomi's oft rumored and much anticipated 15T and 15T Pro now finally have an official unveiling date: September 24. The company itself has revealed the date via its official X account.

The tagline for the launch is "far closer", which makes us think of zooming - perhaps the 15T Pro is getting an exciting zoom camera.

Something very pro is coming far closer. Xiaomi 15T Series launches Sept 24th.

The unveiling is taking place in Munich, Germany, at the same time as the world-famous Oktoberfest - we're not sure if that's by design or just a coincidence, but one of Xiaomi's posts on X does hint at it - see below.

The T series are Xiaomi's 'flagship killers', but, unlike most devices labeled that, these do generally have good cameras, with Leica co-branding no less. Based on what's happened in the past, we wouldn't be surprised to see the 15T powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8400 SoC and the 15T Pro going with the 9400 or 9400+.
