Xiaomi 17 Ultra reported to launch alongside Redmi Turbo 5 series, flagship smartwatch and more
Rumors about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra’s launch point to an early announcement on December 26, and well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has now leaked all of the devices that are expected to launch alongside Xiaomi’s top-tier flagship.
As per the latest rumor, Xiaomi will announce its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5- powered Xiaomi 17 Ultra alongside two Redmi midrange offerings, which are most likely the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro.
The former is expected to utilize MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Turbo 5 Pro will get the Dimensity 9500 SoC. The Pro model is also expected to carry a massive 9,000 mAh battery with 100W charging, while its non-Pro sibling could offer a smaller but still impressive 7,500 mAh cell.

Xiaomi is also set to introduce a new flagship smartwatch with eSIM support for standalone usage without a smartphone. The wearable is also reportedly getting a massive 930mAh battery and will boot Xiaomi HyperOS. In addition, we’re also expecting a new midrange tablet, two pairs of TWS earbuds and several IoT devices.
Xiaomi has already kicked off blind pre-orders for the 17 Ultra. The upcoming flagship is expected to cost as much as its predecessor in China but there’s no word if that will also translate to global pricing.
