Xiaomi 17 Ultra is getting a global launch, certifications reveal
Xiaomi is rumored to be introducing the 17 Ultra in China on December 26, and you may have been wondering whether the company's next flagship smartphone would also get an international release. The answer is yes.
While Xiaomi itself hasn't confirmed this yet, the FCC has just certified the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. This has the model number 2512BPNDAG, which is revealed in an IMEI database to belong to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The "G" at the end also confirms this is meant for global markets.
The device will launch running Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top, unsurprisingly. It has support for 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth LE, and wireless charging built-in.
According to previous rumors and leaks, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. It will of course be the brand's all-out camera flagship, rumored to include a 1-inch type main sensor.
