Xiaomi arrives in Portugal

Yordan, 23 March 2018

Xiaomi keeps expanding its presence in Europe, with the newest country in the portfolio being Portugal. Devices from the Chinese manufacturer will be available next through retailers, including Worten, Fnac and Media Markt. Some devices are already listed, but as “out of stock”.

Our source adds that with the official introduction of Xiaomi in Portugal, all devices will have 2-year warranty as per EU regulations. The phones will also have support in Portuguese and some market-tailored features. Pricing will not be any different than any other EU country - they will most likely copy the price tags in neighboring Spain.

Here’s the full list of devices that will arrive in Portugal:

Xiaomi Mi A1, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi Redmi 5, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus (aka Xiaomi Redmi Note 5), Xiaomi Redmi 4X, Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

Haha welcome to the same situation that we've seen in Poland ;) The retailers and the official stores (we have 2 official stores in Poland: one in Warsaw and one just opened up in Kraków) mark the prices up way too high and the only thing...

What are they smoking in those "Mi Stores" in Portugal,I mean about prices...??? A1 double the usual price online, that explains why they don`t have Mi6 or Mi Note 3 in the store...they would cost 1000euros,surely...wtf...
