Xiaomi confirms MWC 2023 attendance, but no 13 Ultra launch

Peter, 10 January 2023

Xiaomi is sending out invitations to reporters that want to tour its booth at MWC 2023. The company writes “we'll share our vision for 2023 and onward, and how we plan to innovate and better connect people”. While we’d love to hear Xiaomi’s strategy for this year, there isn’t even a hint of a Xiaomi 13 Ultra announcement.

If we’re reading this right, this will be an opportunity for some hands on time with Xiaomi’s new smartphones, smart home devices and other gadgets for those who haven’t yet been able to see the new models in person.

Xiaomi adds “we will share information about our global footprint”, so it might finally reveal its plans for the global rollout of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. But so far it sounds like the earlier report of new Leica-equipped phones is not true.

That is not to say that a Xiaomi 13 Ultra doesn’t exist, but if it does, it will be revealed at a separate event later on. We will keep you updated with anything new we learn. For those attending the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Xiaomi’s booth will be open from February 27 to March 2.

Its xiomi chienese it can be made of diamond and cost 100 dollers but still stop working after 2 months. so yea .....

Xiaomi never fails to surprise and shook the world. Could be a first full frame on a phone! LOL

could be a new Leica Full Frame on a 13S Ultra. Since 1" = 25.4mm and full frame is just 6.6mm larger or 32mm. So, why not full frame. Possible but not probable. Cheers....
