But still, you couldn't only rely on slim or wide form factor to maintain proper temperature from a machine such as CPU. Technically, you also need some good "thermal" components, minimum in order to the heat not all concentrated in only single point of the machine, this is a common sense. Considering the weight, perhaps this phone doesn't have a proper thermal management system. And also, 732G is relatively hotter than 720G. So again, this issue back to Xiaomi's bad decisions.

I mean it's a lot thinner so in theory and practice it should do a lot better on heat management than any other 732g phone.

Redminote10suser, 21 Sep 2021I guess its the glass body, smaller battery, cramped inside... moreInteresting. However, we know that a vivo v20/v21 with SD720G which also typically slim surprisingly they're capable to maintains the temperature far better, even better than some thicker phones out there. The fact that slimer and wider component shoud be better in releasing heat indicated that the problem, I assume, perhaps in the TYPE of hardware which Xiaomi's used. 150 gr for 6,55 inches phone with 4200mAH battery is increadibly lightweight. Lightweight phone indicated a lightweight components. And my assumption would be the lightweight components that Xiaomi's used in Mi 11 lite are a non-standard, that produces more heat than the standard one. CMIIW

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2021Why, although the cpu of this mobile phone is equal to note... moreI guess its the glass body, smaller battery, cramped inside due to thin body. So hardware parts are more close to each other causing heating . You have to be glad that you can feel the heat because if the smartphone heat doesn't spread throughout the phone's body it means that the heat stays inside and will heat up the processor instead of letting it spread the heat throughout

Does the display of this phone have 2 different vendors? If so is one superior to the other? And does the display have severe black crush?

Had Mi T9. Felt battery to become weaker. Chose MI 11 Lite. By today I'm back with my Mi T9. 11 is awful! Most irritating is battery. Had to charge twice a day to manage. And I'm not poweruser. Lagging, worse camera compared to Mi t9. Slim - headache to crab and hold. Nogo. Have to find option to get rid of it. Do not make the same mistake! Xiaomi is good, but 11 lite is disaster.

newbie, 01 Sep 2021should i buy this or redmi note 10 pro? i heard there were ... moreI'm a mi fan myself, no hate at all. But being honest, this phone seems overpriced under the name of ' mi 11' series. Because at this price, the Redmi note 10 series is much more value for money.
And if you don't need that 108 no camera, then the Redmi note 10 s/ pro( I'm not sure what it's called) is the most value for money phone of 2020.
Not gonna comment on UI as it's personal preference.
Good luck with your phone

I purchased the mi 11 lite 2 weeks ago and it was smooth and i enjoyed it. My only complain is the camera. Too saturated and sharpenned. Does anyone have the same experience with the camera? Hope they can place back the option to adjust the saturation, sharpness back in the camera settings.
UI experience got worse when i updated it to MIUI 12.5.5. I SHOULD HAVE NOT UPDATED IT! It works fine when battery is above 70%. But when below 70%, performance drops. UI is laggy and game turbo boost is useless. They call the update 12.5 enhanced, yet I experienced the opposite.
I hope the new update would come and fix this issue. CPU may not be powerful but i like the form factor, less chin bezel and light weight.
