Hallo guys,i want to make a simple question ,the prices droped way to much here at greece ,and i want to know your opinio about buying and MI 8 at 340 euros , or and S8 plus fro 410 euros. Will i have updates for the next year ? wich phone is better at battery endurance ? wich phone will slow down more with the passing of time ? thank you

Yes, by comparison, Mi8 is the better phone out there, but it lack Micro SD slot, 3.5mm jack, has smaller battery, but in return, Mi8 has better camera, modern shinny glass body and metal frame, AMOLED screen, better speaker, has NFC, proper widewine L1 support.
Poco F1 despite compromise on the screen, even compromise on the outlook with plastic body, but it pack in 4000mah battery, Micro SD slot, 3.5mm jack, liquid cooling, but using low grade LCD screen, no NFC, polycarbonate back, no proper widewine L1 support.
So, both phones actually are quite different, at the end it is down to personal preference to judge what features actually matter the most for users.
In final decision, I choose Poco F1 for it's cheaper price (I get $300 for 128GB version), bigger battery, Micro SD slot that I considered more important for me, 3.5mm jack that prove to be more convenient than using a dongle, I can live without NFC, then I actually doesn't subscribe to Netflix. I also prefer LCD more, I am the only minority that actually prefer LCD screen for more natural colors, and also for longer life time.
Finally, yes, for normal user that don't know how to choose, definitely pick Mi8 any day over Poco F1. But for those who want to save more, appreciate the use of Micro SD and 3.5mm jack, then Poco F1 is also a good choice.

But Mi8 is a step up when it comes to camera, it has OIS and a telephoto sensor while Poco doesn't have these. Poco has a depth sensor as a secondary shooter, so it isn't very useful. The outside of the Mi8 is made of metal while Poco uses a polycarbonate frame. Also, Mi8 has a AMOLED display rather than IPS found in Poco and it is considerably better than Poco's screen; it has true blacks, punchy colors with good accuracy and very high brightness. On the other hand, Poco has a bigger 4000mah battery and a considerably cheaper price. Unless you are in a tight budget or want to own the SD845 SoC at the cheapest price, Mi8 is the better option. In my opinion, screen quality does matter.

May I know which camera is better in t... moreI have the same question but i think i would go with the mi8 since it has the best focus (dual pixel technology and OIS helps regarding this matter), Nova 3 over saturates the images with the AI feature. Also, mi8 records slow mo at 960 fps. The battery is a bit small and that big notch is a problem for me and i've heared that you can not hide it and the notifications are not showing because of the big notch (please someone correct me if i'm wrong - I wish I'm wrong). I will buy it for the camera and processor, i hope i wont regret it.

MIUI os it's the software since ever , why you bought it?
Install Google pixel ROM and it will be a pixel 3 run perfectly smooth.
MIUI OS have more features than Google .
