a flagship phone with -
** no IP rating
** no wireless charging
** no headphone jack
** no IR remote (used to be a good xiaomi feature)

        Hi all,so I'm searching for a good budget phone with SD845 and at least 6gb of RAM.Mi8 looks pretty good for me,but Xiaomi black shark looks kind of similar.Can anyone help me which one is better?Sorry for my English lol.

                            awesome flagship! the only problem I have with it is the loudness of audio when using headphones (sony high impedance). Bass &clarity outstanding, but volume is not loud enough imo. Mine has global Miui 9.6.3.0 stable. Do something Xiaomi, outstanding phone! don't leave audiophilies like myself out!

                              LTE B41 4 antenna technology, supports 4×4 MIMO

                              According to Xiaomi normal practice, Global and China model are exactly the same on hardware, just the installed ROM is different, unless there is special model unlocked for certain LTE band in certain country (it is quite rare) , but it's network configuration normally is based on the region you set while setup the MIUI, which can also be changed later in the setting.
                              GSMArena do state it can more band, including 34,38,39,40,41. Best would be having the sample phone to test the network.

But I... moreThere are no confirmed working type c adaptor that proved to be allowed charging and using the 3.5mm jack at the same time. The one claimed works is the Baseus brand adapter, L40, but yet to be properly tested. This Baseus L40 adapter did works on HTC U Ultra, however need to install "Audio Router" apps that force audio route out from the type C adapter. You might try that Baseus adapter, but you loose the quick charging.

                                      MobileGamer, 15 Aug 2018Honor Note 10 or Xiaomi Mi 8?Of course both are good at gaming, despite Mi8 SD845 can push further, both are adequate for gaming.
                                      Major different would be screen size and battery size, not everyone like too big screen of Note 10.
                                      My opinion is, you should test and try both before buying, both are good in their own way.
                                      One other major difference would be pricing, Mi8 might be sold cheaper.
