MI 8 User, 22 Jan 2021MIU 12 in January 2021 is it good? Yeah, I'm running Global Stable 12.0.1 it's running super smooth, some stutter and hang still occasionally occured, but not as significant as the final MIUI 11 update. I was really ready to change my phone, but after MIUI 12, I'm gonna hold for maybe another year or two.

Is MIUI 12 any good? I update my Mi 8 and the camera seems to become laggy. Photo quality also dropped in Portrait mode. Anyone experiencing this after the update?

Does anyone got a problem where when you screenshot and the using the power and volume button and it's not in synce the Volume notification will flash2x on your screen?it can be easily fixed by turning your screen off but it's so annoying.

I updated to MiUI 12 and here are my thoughts at first the phone doesn't do very well or it is not stable but not laggy but after one day the Phone is now stable I noticed that the battery life improve well I was using a launcher but the MIUI 11 drains my battery much more and the performance has improved and the new interface is not stable at first but now became stable.

as I said before, the version still beta stable, I've noticed there are some bugs, such as 1. super wallpaper mars cannot be updated, 2. default/device wallpaper no available, 3. even if you apply the theme or personal wallpaper after a while it will return to the default theme (display blink then device soft reset), 4. super wallpaper both earth and mars not working consistently, 5. lag or delay when opening apps. If you don't want bothered with bugs, please be patience for full stable realeased, if you want to continue, you can update manually via recovery/fastboot. Good luck! 😄
