Xiaomi Mi 9 availability in Europe expands to the Netherlands

Yordan, 27 February 2019

Xiaomi Mi 9 was introduced at MWC 2019 in Spain, Italy, and France with an attractive price tag of €450 for the 6/64 GB variant, going as high as €499 if you opted for the version with 128 GB storage. The company does not have a Mi Store in the Netherlands, so it is up to retailers to offer the device, and that’s what local company Belsimpel is doing.

The Dutch retailer is offering the Xiaomi Mi 9 with 6 GB RAM and 128 gigs of storage for €549 with immediate shipping.

The retailer is also offering subscriptions with the device. If you go for TELE2, you’ll get 20 GB data per month for two years, which is under €12 per month for the plan itself. There are also some costs for delivery and connection, but they are minimal, compared with the price of the actual phone.

Xiaomi Mi 9 comes with Snapdragon 855 and 48 MP camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor. Belsimpel offers it only in Piano Black color that looks amazing. The phone has a slot for two SIM cards but lacks any option for microSD whatsoever. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner under the display, MIUI 10, based on Android Pie and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
