Xiaomi Mi Max 2 to launch in India during the last week of July, rumor claims

Vlad, 10 July 2017

Xiaomi announced the Mi Max 2 for its home market of China back in May, and has since launched it in other places, such as Malaysia. Not India, though. Yet, at least.

Today a new rumor claims that the Mi Max 2 is almost ready to arrive in the subcontinent. The phone is said to be launching in India during the last week of this month. It will reportedly be priced at INR 15,999, which at the current exchange rates means $248 or €217.

We assume that will be the starting price, the amount you'll need to pay for the entry level version with 64GB of storage. The Mi Max 2 is priced similarly in China, where it goes for CNY 1,699 in that configuration ($249, €218). The handset will be offered in India in black and gold.

Thanks for the tip, Salman!
