For a person that is still using 5 inch 16:9 150g phone any new phone is too big/heavy for comfortable use. Maybe one day phones will have 9-10 inch screens, I won't be surprised. Maybe one day you will be salty about phones being too big.

There're barely any compact phones left. Ok, if you want to compare it to biggest old phones, let's look at the weight:
Samsung Note 4 (2014): 176g
LG G Pro 2 (2014): 172g
Mi Mix Alpha (2019): 241g
Mi Mix is so much heavier. Anything "phone" that has bigger than 6.9 inch screen is a tablet. I don't care if some stupid aspect ratio like 10000:9 makes it holdable with one hand, still a tablet.

Only bezels have gotten smaller & shape has changed from wider to taller. Start paying attention to things instead of spreading misconceptions everywhere.
