I just bought this device which comes with a custom global ROM from a local distributor in Malaysia. Everything works fine except for GPS. Anyone having this same experience and know how to fix it?

Dearest Xiaomi.This affordable tablet could have been more popular to have had the least bezel , a dedicated external memory slot,GSM global,more up to data Bluetooth,USB V3.1,8000 mah battery and other necessary up to date preinstalled apps....Thanks anyway for your Max , RN4, RN3 popular products..,.Justice Rights.Omid12Omidvar is an expedient supporter....Thanks for you next modified model....

It should be noted that this Mi Pad 3 has no GSM and G4 connections capability.

I'm quite happy with tablet, the build quality is excellent, the screen is fantastic. I also noticed that Mediatek SoC seem to be the only ones that still offer FM radio, which is a real plus for me.
I got TWRP and root working, I'm just hopig for a fix to a "Waiting for Wi-Fi" error in the Google Play store, which I currently work around by uninstalling update.
I'm trying to figure out if this would work with a USB-C to HDMI adapter, but I'm getting conflicting information.

I have this product for almost 1 week. And the global rom I've got cant download from playstore. But after some rom change it works perfectly fine for me. Love this product. Right now i want to search the flipcase for my mipad 3 but it's hard because of the new release
