The specs say only the 5G version supports GPS and other navigation systems. Can someone confirm this? The product's official datasheet doesn't make this exception and lists navigation for all Pro versions.

Who the heck uses tablet for photography specially this one when this one has mediocre cameras!!
Maybe iPads but on androids you need to move to flagship phones costing 1000+ $ that provides you vlog-worthy camera or for different purposes; the main reason why people buy tabs is for productivity thats why they've given magnetic keyboard to connect with it.
And for 3.5mm its dying every single day in different tiers and is completely wiped out from flagships; you me or anyone can't do anything about it and it will slowly die so try live with it.
This is the best tab imo. Good processor good display good speakers and last but not the least; Good price.

Dear any one told me it is not like tab s7 in productivity and software man be with me imagine all this speses with this price you hav to pay double this price to get your funky productivity i have my 2020 laptop and it destroies even ipad m1 in this side office apps like word and real productivity you need to reality system not just ikon and mini app does something and cant do. Other if you want productivity with this price you have tab a7 enjoy your time with its cpu and gpu you cant play heavey games and there is no 120hz and dolby vision beside fast charging dont till me cheat when you compare the price most people who want tablet they like watching on it and gaming or reading e books i have no time to laughing with my self and using garbage apps belong to pc

For productivity and other Samsung galaxy Tab s7 provides much flexibility and a healthy laptop like experience

to be honest, samsung galaxy tab s7 is much better starting from adaptive refresh rate, sd card , dex mode with hdmi input 2 and the one ui experience compared to xiaomi pad 5 pro

I hope USB C is capable of display out in this device. otherwise it may attract few game enthusiastic but not content creators for sure.
Also in education field without display they cant migrate to this tablet from ipad.

and xiaomi doesn't even put usb 3 or above on even their 1000 dollar flagships, so don't expect any external display or desktop mode support on this, lol
just an ipad pro copy that fails miserably and will sell only because good hardware specs for cheap, look elsewhere if you need good software

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tries to be iPad by omission of the JACK and even the expandable storage yet charging higher? How's that? We are so done with companies giving us lesser options for a gadget yet they charge us higher every effin year.
Time will come people will get tired purchasing tech when they are out of option. And don't ever dismiss our gripes regarding this issue because we know what we need in a gadget which you keep taking away.

Sadnokian8, 10 Aug 2021What is the usage of 8 speaker 🙂 ??? My laptop only has 2... more8 speaker is good, every windows laptop speaker is very quiet compared to even tablets, 2 speaker doesn’t mean it can’t game, 2 speaker is ok but 8 speaker is just AMAZING!

i thiink the only major negative i see is expandable storage. for a productivity device that is a miss opportunity

SD cards nowadays are real fast And this is a tablet, people who use this type of devices for photography and videos need the SD card slot.
Another big let down from this tablet is the 3.5mm headphone jack, I don't see myself connecting a microphone through a dongle or using another dongle in order to charge it at the same time, this is just inconvenient.
