There is no global rom for this tablet, it's sold only with the original chinese rom with google play installed on top. Several reviews clearly show widevine L1 and Netflix/Prime Video running at 1080p, and OTA updates ready to download.
It might be possible to flash the vanilla pad 6's rom once that hits global markets, that's where full compatibility will have to be tested, but as long as you stick to the original rom everthing works as intended.

Does not have widewine L1 and does not support OTA updates (confirmed). "Global roms" are most likely just some hybrid-ish debloated Chinese rom with Google play installed and not an official fully featured global rom.
I think you will get a lot of apps that "does not support your device" on Google play.
Buyers beware.
