For an entry level phone, I kind of like its specs. I'm not a fan of 1080p screens.👍

Yext, 14 Jun 2022It's a joke. Coolpad Cool 20s destroys this phone and ... more I don't know, "destroy" isn't the right word, somewhat out-spec is a better term. Your comparison was also pretty weird since Coolpads are so rare anyway.
Sure, you get a bulkier design, a display comparable to the average budget Samsung, a lesser-known but not necessarily that much worse chip per se, which I'll get to later, and mediocre cameras, but the average Joe either won't notice or care about these things, though an average Joe would notice a (way) bigger battery and- probably- use NFC and an IR port which the Coolpad Cool 20s (who named this? Sony?) misses out on.
As for the chip, it shouldn't be that far off from the D700; the JQL JR510 is built on a Samsung 11nm process, and the D700 is built on an also Samsung process, the difference being it has a 7nm one instead, the D700 has 2 A76 @2.2GHz and 6 A55 @2GHz, while the JR510 has 8 A55 cores 4 @2GHz and the rest at 1.5GHz, sure is no match, but nor is it as far off the D700 as a G36 is far off an 860.
Overral 6/10 phone for an average joe that wants a phone that works
3/10 for anybody else

This is hands down the worst phone ever released by Xiaomi and one of the worst phones in 2022.
The chipset is clearly for Redmi 11A or even Redmi Go.
This is the bottom of the barrel.

Wtf is that chipset, it's not much better than my old ass Exynos 7880. Not worth 140$, just get a used phone that's better than this, not hard.
