Does anybody know if the POCO C65 will automatically switch/connect to a 3G network for emergency calls, even though it is already connected to a 4G network

Miaw, 23 Sep 2024Guys. I know that this isn't the best choice for gamin... morePUBG an CoDM are pretty lagging these days, let alone CoD Warzone. so it will be best to not play games like genshin and honkai on C65, unless you okay with over heating and lagging

Guys. I know that this isn't the best choice for gaming, but I don't to spend that much money for a phone since I'm broke. Anyway, can this phone handle MLBB? How about other games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd? I would really love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Pocky Aviation, 12 Aug 2024I used this phone for a 1-2 month now. For the first questi... moreThanks for your response. Here is the catch: VoLTE encapsulates voice data into IP packets and transmits them over the LTE data network. This allows for simultaneous voice and data services on the same network.
IMS Network: VoLTE relies on the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network to manage and route voice calls over the LTE network.
** But for emergency calls to police or ambulance services, the voice is typically carried over the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) network when using VoLTE (Voice over LTE), especially in the absence of the GSM and 3G networks.
My understanding of the "Preferred network type" setting on the C65 will not restrict it to switching between different networks automatically but will only try to connect to the Preferred network first. (LTE or 3G, for example). Am I correct?
Thanks

Donadab, 12 Aug 2024Does anyone know the answers to the following questions? Pl... moreI used this phone for a 1-2 month now. For the first question. You cannot change the bandwidth of the network to specific bandwidth that you said. But the phone does support bandwidth that you said though.
For second question. Unfortunately, You can't force the device to not automatically change the bandwidth between 3G and 4G. The only setting you can do is "Preferred network type" which you can change it to "Prefer LTE, Prefer 3G, 2G only"
And for the third question. Yes, the device can do VoLTE and Wi-Fi call.
I hope this can help you! 😄

Does anyone know the answers to the following questions? Please advise.
1. For Emergency voice calls, can the device be set up to use only the 4G LTE band B28 700MHz?
2. Can the device be set not to automatically switch between the GSM/WCDMA (3G) or other LTE frequency bands, depending on the signal strength received? (i.e. Emergency voice calls can be set to operate always on the 4G LTE band for example).
3. Can the device be set up for all voice communications to use VoLTE on 4G LTE or VoWIFI over the Internet and not the telco's GSM or 3G network, even when reception is weak on the LTE network?
My understanding is that many smartphones will, by default, switch to using the GSM or 3G voice network when you make a voice or emergency voice call, bypassing the use of a data IP network. Does the C65 work exactly like this?
Many users, including myself, share these concerns if their local telcos have decided to switch off the 3G network for mobile voice communication.

I have bought the phone couple of weeks back. It works just fine. 8GB-256Gb and Helio G85 is perfect combination for someone using this as an office phone. Not into gaming on the phone so wouldn't say much about its game performance but the phone is a great buy if you looking for something not to heavy on your pocket.
