How's the update guys

It was way before 7 years when it was used in Europe. I am one of the late one's who started to use online shopping. My first pages i used needed PayPal as the only method to pay and thats already like 8-9 years ago

And most people dont throw away their old working tech just cause there is new and better out there.

You dont understand this cause you have no experience in taking care of your things so you need to buy new headphones 3 times a year cause your things dont last long cause of your bad care and that is what you have made clear to us already.

I doubt most other people use a headphone that long ("suppose" you are telling truth, then you were just lucky).
I also doubt that Aliexpress has been used by Europeans back then.

As of now you just talk about your opinion on the matter and show that you are not taking care of your own things that wires break 3 times a year on these 5-10 euro headphones.

I have 10 euro headphones from aliexpress and no issues with them over 7 years. But i cant say this is a fact as that is just how my things last when i take care of them

pl2rts, 15 Oct 2024I dont understand how your cables break. I have in-ear head... moreAs previously mentioned, for 3.5 I only use cheap ones ($5~$10), and their cables do break easily as I've replaced them at least twice or 3 times / year.
Then if I choose a higher grade, it costs more than mediocre BT headphone.
And a mediocre BT headphone sound is already good enough for me.
          Deal with the fact.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2024I don't know for your case though my bluetooh one has ... moreI dont understand how your cables break. I have in-ear headphones for something 10 years and no cables broke. Also i am not some audiophile too. I just forget to charge even my home over ear full cup BT headphones. Cause i also have wired headphones at home for my desktop pc.

And if you talk about that you use large headphones outdoors then even more i can't understand how does the cable break for you ? Like you use the cable for roping things or something ? I have even pair of Sony headphones that are like the cheapest in the shop full cup over ear and have lasted me something 25 years. Around same with some 10 euro Panasonics headphones that also around 15-20 years with 3 meters long cable. The only thing that break with these are the soft pads

You are not a person to say whine to me when your cable headphones last less time then BT. Like how are you so clumsy ? That wires break for you in less then a year ?

pl2rts, 11 Oct 2024It's nice advertising but the cost of a good BT headse... moreBy the way, mine is not small earbud.
Therefore, it has a large battery capacity that slight battery degradation doesn't affect much.
If I compare to frequency of breakage of cable, this BT one surly has longer life.
You seem like you haven't actually tried one, but whining things based on your belief.
Try to adopt things a bit especially if it ain't such a big deal.
              Today isn't 10 years ago.

pl2rts, 11 Oct 2024It's nice advertising but the cost of a good BT headse... moreI don't know for your case though my bluetooh one has better sound (perhaps because I always used cheap 3.5, because cable go bad easily).
on BT one, battery lasts like few days ~ a week for regular use.
Then I don't have to worry about cable breaking.
Broke cable on 3.5 few times verses BT headphone 1 / year = eventually BT one is cheaper in a long run.
Therefore, to me, lack of 3.5 isn't big deal (contrary to my belief in past).

You might read that for yearly upgrades for many smartphone even for iPhone and Samsung one, the upgrade that actually can be felt is not huge by just one or two years upgrade. For me, this POCO F5 camera improved a lot, performance and experience wise might not. The decision for upgrade is up to you, nothing wrong either with upgrade or no upgrade.

Never mind that wired headphones dont have expiring date on them like wireless have with their inbuilt batteries that cant be replaced in the future so to use them you still need to have them wired when the battery life time is over

I chose one that has a large battery capacity (lasts for at least a few days) together with reputation while it was on sale, and haven't back at 3.5mm since then.

I'm not looking for spec sheet comparison that most people don't notice (most youtube reviews are useless), but looking for opinion from real long term users.

Someone mention about the third party pro audio thing, I think it is opposite about saying this F5 doesn't support, but it is the Pro Audio don't support for this 7+Gen2 platform or totally not supporting for other UI other than Samsung. I suspect this is something that is proprietary for Samsung UI much like their Tizen OS. In case for most case, the generic type C audio output should do the rest of high quality audio stuff if want to have so called professional audio output for uncompressed digital audio, then you can connect with any supported audio gear for better audio.

Also i am not a audiophile and for sure i am not expecting a lot from phones to have a good sound quality.

Go with Sony phones when you want the audio. Just accept that you wont get good hardware with their phones with a reasonable price
