The battery drain is insane! I've been taking care of my phone's battery ever since I bought this but it's draining even when it's on idle. I charged my phone until 100% and let it be, after 15 hours, it's already around 68%. The battery decreases whether you use it or not. And yes, I've turned on all the settings to save battery. I'm not even sure if it's my battery or the hyperOS. I can't check the battery's health but I've never used my phone while charging so it doesn't make sense why my battery is already worn out not even 2 years of usage.

    MrLB07, 17 Mar 2025the weird thing is that Poco F1 was able to record 4K at 60fps!I also think that some old phone camera was better.
    Can't remember which model though it was an Android phone (I guess it was either HTC or Nokia, can't remember which) I'm quite sure I used to take better night shots with that phone as the camera could capture more light.
    Does anyone here share common experience?

            True:) as I'm also getting grumpier these days, that's main reason why I had to get 2 in 1 (a refurbished one for $200, but consider as one of the best purchase, just gotta tweak the stupid Windows a bit though) .

Feature phone would be for just calling and battery would last a month. But texting is not comfortable on these 1-2inch screens on the feature phones. Never mind typing with the 3-4 letters on one button.

              I still need the larger screen phone for task when i am not at work or home. Need to go to some place where i have only the address but dont have a picture in my mind how to get there or where that place is so i can look it up from the phone and then also see the public transport that goes there so i can plan it out how to move there. Also time to time i need the camera to read small text so i take the picture to zoom in to read the small text. QR code reader is needed time to time and so on.

              there are some things you just can't do without smartphone in modern era so only to have a feature phone for calls is not a good option and more devices is even less of an option.

              In my something 28 years of using phones i have got mostly the cheaper ones only. My last phone was Redmi note 5 ai dual cam and i used it for 5 years. It was slow from the start but it was expected as for a 170 euro phone and in 2018 the performance difference wasnt so large from middle class to flagship also. Now when budget is like Antutu bench score of 250k to 400k and middle class is in majority around 450k to 850k and few rare cases with chips like SD 7+ gen 2/3, SD8s gen 3 or D8300/8400 that go from 1.1M to 1.6M while most flagships are in the range of 2M to 3M scores.

              The older you get the faster time is moving so i get really annoyed when my device is really slow. So i spend a bit more then usual for this 2 years ago so i can use it for 5 years and it wont slow down and be as fast as from the start it is.

                I don't really like tablet as it's too limited, but I use 2 in 1 and notebook for work.
                If I were to use the phone just for phone calls, I would get a cheapest phone as possible then the battery will likely last as long as yours or even longer.

With wifi 4G and other services running in background like google play service battery time is moderate. Now manufactures are putting 6500 to 7000 mah so you can have full 2 days on a single charge with strong use. Smartphones are mini computer now so big battery are required.

                    I am not addicted to phone screen as i am more addicted to big screens like at work with laptop or at home with desktop computer or when i go to sleep i pick up a tablet to read comics. I dont have that good eye sight to use phone on everything and i dont especially like to use phone cause of my bad eyesight so why mess with the sight when i have larger screen options all the time ?

                    I mostly use the phone for calling like phones purpose is.
                    My last phone had also 4000mAh battery and lasted the same with battery where i charged it like at best 2 times a week. Well that last phone was also so weak and slow that there was no point even install much on it

                      As for my own usage, watch joutube for an hour, play game for half an hour, and check online shopping app for like an hour, then I get like a day, maybe, noting I charge up to 85% only, supposing charging 100% can last slightly more than a day.

                        The claims about charging the phone twice a week are not exaggerated. I only charge mine twice a week as well, but then I only use it for what it was intended for, and that is as a phone. I use it to make calls, send messages, and to take the occasional photo. I don't sit around all day playing games, and I don't have any social media accounts, so three days use from a charge isn't unusual.

Probably you left the phone on stand by. This phone only 5000 mah and it has google play services running and updating in background. If you really use it will last 1.5 day or 2 days at most. Only 10.000+mah battery will last you a week with 2 charge.

                              Here we get 5g for free with same old contract, but usage is limited to certain amount (still big enough to let it on all the time).
                              & 4g here is kinda slow especially if I download something or streaming some video.

No i dont use 5G cause 4G is fast enough and to turn on 5G i need to change my contract that will rise the monthly price like 10 euro so what is the point of that ? It wont change a thing in the phone when even in bad connection areas with 44G i get like 50Mbps download speed. At my home i get around 130Mbps down and 40Mbps up speed with 4G

                                More then enough to use so there is no need for faster speed with 5G. Also when i really want then home wifi get me 200/200Mbps
