Again, this is the cheapest 8sGen4 smartphone at my region, unless you have special demand for camera, then this is one of the most valuable smartphone to own. The rest would be asking too much. I have been using smartphone from this brand and also low end smartphone, I would say to this date and time unless you have very specific high end requirement, then no need settle for high end or more expensive smartphone as the experience won't be night and day different as all the Android standard features is intact with very less compromise on performance.

MMWAVE, 13 Jul 2025Considering this phone, but coming from a Google Pixel 6, i... moreofcourse pixel os is superior to hyperos be it in ram management, smoothness, cleaner look or the google ecosystem(if it even exists). but given the sheer horsepower of f7 and the customisibality of hyperos you can remove most of its shortcomings of hyperos in a few minutes. I won't go in detail but (shizuku + canta) will do the job for you. and on setting up the device for the first time don't forget to unselect any dark pattern on your way. disable battery optimisation for apps in case of notification delays.
you'll be good to go. this is a great device.

Considering this phone, but coming from a Google Pixel 6, i’m used to Pixel OS. Could anyone who uses Hyper OS tell me what to expect? Also, what is the bloat like because in reviews I’ve watched I have seen mixed reports.

Confused, 11 Jul 2025Hello, I just bought a Poco F7 and I did noticed that there... moreThere are 2 ring RGB lights on rear camera lenses. They are basically notification lights and charge indicator for when you put the phone face down. So they're only for these purposes, not a flashlight or photography light

Dana jamal, 10 Jul 2025Why it.has no sd card slot? While we maybe have 1TB sd ca... moreYes, if the option is there, we would have option not to use cloud service. But it is already 2025, it is not just POCO brand that eliminate the feature, but all major smartphone brand has ditch the feature, so we cannot pinpoint already. There are many work around which are easily available. For me, I have laptop and just copy out to laptop as backup, that's it, then I can copy to external HDD which is still way cheaper than 1TB/2TB Micro SD card, and is more useful than Micro SD card.

Geek1204, 11 Jul 2025They don't provide SD card slot I guess companies prov... moreIt is about hardware cost and some royalty fee, also the spacing design, chip design. Also about the performance where the Micro SD card transfer speed can vary with different price, much slower than UFS 4.0.
Yes, for us, definitely it is a good option to save something, can choose to not using it. But when the whole option is gone, it is definitely gone. But it is already 2025, it is expected everyone know how to work around this, either get a laptop, cloud storage, get used to the wireless transfer, etc, won't bother for real usage.
