Phone is extremely fast. It does not have heating problem. Snapdragon 4 gen 2 is extremely fast for day to day task if you pair it with 6 GB ram. Disable all the bloatware using adb. You can use Universal Android Debloater to disable bloatware. After that phone will be amazingly fast. Search Google how to do this.

Snapdragon 4 gen 2 is the worst chipset ever. It is enough for enviro temperature to rise above 19 degree celsius for this SoC to start throttling and by this I mean slowing down to snail like tempo. Wont even be able to check email when this chip is not cooled to subzero.

I purchased a mobile last month, on March 28, 2024. In my opinion, it is not worth the money because:
When I use WhatsApp, I am not able to connect to the internet properly. (I am using JIO in India.)
Charging takes too much time to reach full charge, nearly (5 hours).
It generates heat when we use it.

when phone hang otomatically phone is powering off and otomatically powering on ,when i use 5G on this phone phone is heat rally bad I don't suggest anyone this phone I don't happy with the performance of the phone and phone brightness is vear low please adjust more brightness because when I am in sunlight I don't see much sorry poco but you expect that your mistakes next time manufacture good phone on this price 🖤and think about brightness 🖤

This is a poor 5G.
The 4G is far better.
Faster charging 67W vs 18W
And G99 ultra is better than SD 4gen 2

with Android 14 software

you can have it running much of the day for years and never get burn in like OLED gets , colour doesn't degrade/distort over time and it can't cause the headaches/eyestrain that OLED does for some people

Cheaper Redmi12 5G variants have 4 Gen 2 underclocked or chips that are lower than the standard 4 gen 2. That's why it is cheaper.But even so , it is worth the P2P for us :)If you are lucky enough, your 4gen2 phone performance might only a little lower than expected that it can be negligible and virtually identical to Redmi 12 5G. How do I know? Well , I bought it and benchmark tested it Antutu and Geekbench. Antutu score is 400k or a little lower whereas Redmi 12 5G can solidly score 420K or above. Their CPU difference is around 5000 but GPU scores 45000 Vs 60000 on Redmi 12 5G. On Geekbench 6 , Multicore score is a little lower like around 100 and single core score is around 50.CPU throttling test shows no throttle so the 4gen2 chip is so good.
