I used to have Redmi 9T until it broke down after 4 years of usage, then I changed to this one. Honestly, with that kind of price, I was hoping something decent. Yes, the Dolby Atmos is pretty dope. The camera is decent but danggg... Just dang. The mic input is baaad. So punchy. And also, it lags a lot even when I'm just doing basic things. I am inconsolable when it comes to this phone ngl. Gonna give it 4/10

3.5mm jack, Card slot, +8GB RAM and dual/stereo speakers is what I was looking for on a smartphone at affordable price, tbh.
My Nokia 8 faces screen and battery issues and I was looking for a similar, updated android. I was undecided between Sony Xperia 1 VI and HTC U24 Pro, but ended up with Poco M6 Pro because its cheaper and I gave up on the need of having a smartphone with USB Type-C 3.0. I've also read heating, screen and fingerprint issues from the other two brands.
This smartphone was a big update from someone with an android from 2017. It has features that quite surprised me and the user interface is quite customizable, which I find interesting. I literally just browse online, listen to music, send emails and scroll through social media so I'm satisfied with what this smartphone is giving thus far.
I love the fast charging (100% in like 35 minutes); ultra battery saving mode; Dolby Atmos mode; expanded memory; to schedule: reading mode, night mode, battery saving, turn off/on the phone; toggle action gestures/buttons and setting your phone to turn on up before your alarm rings and more – which is awesome.
Although there's no much difference in weight I feel like I 'sacrifice' my pinky finger more? IDK. I also noticed that the phone gets warm when charging, but it is not built with aluminum so maybe that's the reason why.
I don't like the back cameras, aesthetically. They remind me of a double plate electric oven and feels like you might break them easily if you drop your smartphone by accident. But a lens and back cover with camera protector from Ali sufficed.
I also don't like that you cannot disable apps and services as on Android 9 (Pie) and set certain apps outside of the Play Store as default.
Ads are not a problem because it was the first thing I disabled when I turned the smartphone on. No issues with the Network and Wi-Fi whatsoever.

Had this phone for a few days, so far I like most of the things, I like how MIUI looks and feels (kinda prefer it over Samsung's OneUI), specs for the price are great, cameras are pretty darn good, just until it gets a little too dark (the photos get noisy) and sometimes a slow shutter is not optimal, but the phone makes sure to not raise the shutter speed on automatic.
Pretty decent for gaming at medium settings 60fps +- 1 or a fps on games like CODM and WoTB, but absolutely no freezing or dropping below 45 fps (haven't tested more games yet).
Really good storage and plenty of RAM for a phone (some PC's don't even have 8gb of RAM).
Screen feels awesome at 120hz, the CPU manages just fine without reaching temps higher than 34°c while gaming (medium settings).
It feels pretty nice in the hand, although polymer, but it feels like a high quality plastic.
Although the phone feels and behaves pretty damn great, the stock MIUI comes with bloat, lots of 3rd party apps and games.
Battery is decent, but I used phones with better batteries before.
Cameras 6/10
Gaming 6/10
Storage 10/10
Battery 6/10
Build quality 5/10
Over all 7/10

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2024Poco X6 is a way better option than M6 Pro because of 5G co... moreTrue. But depends if you want to afford the price diference. I bought M6 Pro 4g because my mobile internet conectivity doesnt go more than 10gb/s + i dont mind playing on low settings. And i wanted a phone with audio Jack and sd card slot só was the best price/spec options. In Portugal, they have a diferce of 100€ from each other (512/12 variants).
If you ask me the best phone you can buy, i wold say X6 Pro no doubt. Save some €€€ Poco M6 Pro 4g os good for daylie stuff. I use M6 Pro 4g, play Genshin impact on lowest, Pokémon United at 40fps, idk the settings inhave on Diablo Immortal but works too, Fortnite on low.
RIP to all Poco X3 Pro that passed like mine. To all owners, salute!!
