It has the best IPS display at the time (according to GSMARENA's review) and I NEVER used refresh rates higher than 60 fps to save battery. And the battery could last two days.
I'm only looking for a good device for my next upgrade but after 2 years the 10T Pro's cameras are still impeccable, I even shot an 8k footage of macro with it and downsampled to 4k with quality that is just insane.
But don't get me wrong, I like the Poco X4 GT. If my device suddenly stopped working, I would get it because it's affordable and practical with a superb Dimensity chip.
I don't know why Xiaomi limited the X4 GT video capture to 4k60 when the Dimensity 8100 is very capable of 4K60 HDR10+ recording.

X4 GT has a newer processor, headphone jack, MIUI 13, better display, and more affordable.
But I will be keeping my 10T Pro because of the versatile camera setup and better build and battery life.

And honourable mention to iphone 14 Pro, which has the same performance you'd find on a Snapdragon 8+ gen 1.

SD card really shouldn't be a big of a deal. You can even install apps on SD card, so I don't see why there would be a need for it. If you take a lot of photos/videos, cloud is your friend.

I am looking up phone for my mom and try to avoid Gen 1 chipset
