the battery for me is good for all day used. i like the display nice and vibrant color, no lag issues for me i already uninstalled bloatwares. the camera is just fine for the camera app its just weird because theres like 0.6 1.x and 2x in setting the default is 1x like its zoomin and when you use it in the messenger videocalling the quality is too bad pixelated and blurry and i think its using the 1.0 setting i hope this can be fixed and im hoping someone can give a tutorial how to fix it. i love the phone but the quality of the videocall thumbs down for me.

XP tester, 14 Nov 2023Yesterday I got Poco X5 5G and tried it all afternoon and n... moreNo freezing for me, except not so smooth scrolling through a ton of content , probably server/net can't keep up. Ditch the pre-installed screen protector it's horrible, get something cheap like Ibywind. It comes in 2 pcs, change 1 after a year. Battery is holding up pretty good for me, 5GHz wifi connection and preferred network type 'Prefer LTE' instead of 5G. As for the selfie, there is a wand at the bottom right. Tap on that and choose 'Original'.

Yesterday I got Poco X5 5G and tried it all afternoon and night. Not sure if I bought a flawed unit (170 USD, through official store), but I experienced freeze several times. Even though I already deleted all unnecessary apps that can be deleted. Only installed IG, a kingdom building game, Netflix, an online shop, WA, FB. That's it. Is it because of the processor? But they say the processor isn't that bad. The screen is not as comfortable to touch as X3 Pro, too. Maybe I should've bought X3 Pro again, but only unofficial stores sell that model now, and repacked :') Also the battery drained quickly even though I used WiFi :/
About the cameras, main camera is okay, but the selfie camera is...weird. Not that I really care about cameras, just a review.

Ain't complaining for the price, got it for 114USD. Like the previous replies said, you can't have everything at this price point. Another step up 108mp camera, pay more. You want camera with OIS, then pay more again. As for the weak plastic frame, just becareful with it.

Phone is good in everyday use, the problem is battery life is too short when using mobile data, but in wifi mode it can last all day while gaming.

I use this phone recently. So the phone's chipset Snapdragon 695 was very fast for gaming. So for gamers buy this phone.

After having the Poco M3 for nearly 3 years. I thought I'd treat myself to a Poco X5 within 3 months the USB port was completely useless for charging you could not even insert the USB lead in there! I thought I'd better get a replacement or refund, so I was going to, but I had fitted a stick-on protection for the camera lens, so I removed it carefully, but to my absolute horror, it removed part of the outside case and light! So now it certainly cannot be returned! I did read about this model of phone the case being completely made of plastic and the build quality was not as good as their previous phones. I have seen videos of other owners snapping these phones in half quite easily! I really wish I never bought this phone now the risk was not worth it for me! It's a too flimsy build please avoid it!

What a disgusting camera on an otherwise quite decent display. Guess you can't have them all at this price point.
