This seems like a bastardized / re-branded version of the R Note-12. Could be a good option for budget buyers, depending on the price, which we'll see once the Global version is avail on the international markets. If you are currently using a R Note-10 Pro or Poco F3, Don't get this handset cause you are actually downgrading, Just wait for the Global release of the R Note-12 Pro, Pro+ / Peace

poco x3 was a good middle class phone, but poco x5 went down in rank, but the price remained the same

Poco x4 line didnt have any base version and immediately went to the pro line. Poco x5 is gonna be cheaper with poco x5 pro being the same price as poco x4 pro. Sure 778g isnt as good as 860 but its still a solid choice

Why are they downgrading yet again!? I've got a 2yr old Poco X3 Pro that has better specifications! X4 was a disappointing offer. Now the X5 is even worse again. It's so frustrating.

Worse than poci x4. Same processor, worse camera.
They took away removable battery, micrSD card, then headphone jack, then yearly upgrades and now started to downgrade. Yes I'm archaic and proud.

the reason they did these mediocre specifications is people buying a pathetic donwngraded X4 in the first place. It will be a horrible phone if priced over 230 USD

I think all of users X3 NFC would be dying if they know that the next generation for their device is damn downgrade. Really? 4 Gigs RAM for 2023? Even with LPDDR 5X, 4 Gigs is System Grave 🤣

POCO peaked at X3 NFC, X3 Pro and F3. The F series POCO phones are still decent. However, every new X series phone they released is just a joke lmao. Like how do you go from SD 855 to a puny SD 695 for the X Pro phones lmao. Not only that, the X5 design is just so boring and generic, it literally looks like a cheap Realme/Vivo/Oppo/Oneplus phone.
