IQ200, 09 Feb 2023Here, let's compare them together https://www.gsma... moreSome people here don't know that the display of this device is "Flow Amoled", it's lighter and thinner than a regular amoled screen and it has more advantage. Other features of the display are 1920Hz PWM dimming, 10 bit, DCI-P3, Dolby Vision certification and 120Hz refresh rate. One of the best display they have put in a mid-range phone, almost flagship-grade. The dual speaker comes with dolby atmos certification. EIS works great in this phone even in 4k.

UncleKeepsVisitingMe, 09 Feb 2023Hahahaha, have a look at Poco F3 / F4 AMOLED display issues... moreWell duh! those phones were specially made for the performance factor rather than the display. Surely, they could have gone with a lcd display but amoled has better viewing angles and colors so they wanted to fill that gap of consumers who want very fast chipset and also enjoy oled displays for better quality. The fact being their x3 model has better chip than x5 (which you pointed out yourself btw) gives obvious clue that poco has focused their new 2 models on being a balanced phone, so they can fill corners and provide good display and camera compromising the performance. If you want to complain about the phone, at least have an experience in using it first, you don't know how the phone is just by seeing it on paper. X4 pro was appreciated by several critics and considered one of the best balanced phones in its budget.

Good luck taking better photos without OIS.
Samsung has WAY BETTER updates policy, faster security patch updates.
And nice try talking about ufs 4.0 which poco does not have.
Yes, it is an downgraded a52s.
Poco has more battery and faster charging, thats it.

AnonD-731363, 07 Feb 2023Man you funny since A52s have a lot worse specs, worse main... moreHere, let's compare them together
https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=12094&idPhone2=11039
Poco X5 Pro disadvantages over Galaxy A52s:
- no IP 68, just IP 53 (I don't care what you saying about waterproofness, the fact is that IP68 costs more and A52s has it and Poco don't. We are just comparing what they got.)
- AMOLED instead of SuperAMOLED, which means A52s screen has a better viewing angle
- No OIS on Poco, in fact there isn't an gyro-EIS on Poco either, meaning you can forget about stability in shooting videos, but it impacts shooting photos too especially in darker conditions. Except the main one all other camera are downgraded in comparation with A52s camera set up. Just look at those tiny sensors on Poco. 8MP with 1/4 inch size for ultrawide and A52s has a 1/2.9 inch size sensor with 12MP. Poco doesn't have an option to record in 4k on front camera. Only Full HD.
- no microSD memory card slot
- 2 major software updates compared to A52s 4 years + 1 extra year of security patches
Galaxy A52s disadvantages over Poco X5 Pro:
- maximum screen brightness 800 nits instead of 900 on Poco
- smaller screen (some people think bigger is better so that's why I put the screen size because I want to be as objective as I possibly can)
- no IR infrared remote
- older Bluetooth standard 5.0 instead of Poco's 5.2 but that's because A52s is a 1 and half year older device then Poco X5 Pro so it's not really a fair comparation as they're not from the same period of time but I'm mentioning it anyway as I don't want to leave any room for mistakes in this comparation
- slower charging speeds (25W instead of Poco's 67W)
- no wireless charging at all (Poco has 5W but only reversed wireless which is okay for charging small devices)
What Poco X5 Pro and Galaxy A52s have in common:
- they have a same chipset Snapdragon 778G
- comparable results with main cameras, even Poco's camera sounds more impressive with bigger sensor but the lack of OIS and EIS is seriously hurting the maximum potential of the main sensor, so I just leave it there
- same battery endurance rating even Poco X5 Pro has a bigger battery (5000mAh vs. A52s 4500mAh)
Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day!

My normal usage is just as valid as someone else's normal use who fills up no more than 25% of their 256GB storage.
By your logic, we only need 64GB and no more, since a handful of people use no more than 30-40GB of storage
I have no idea why do you people oppose to things that other people may find useful. How could an SD-card slot would have negatively impacted your usage ?

They have billions of dollars, yet their software is still infested with bugs and lacking feature since God-knows how long
May I remind you of how Global MIUI is vastly inferior to Chinese MIUI rom ?
May I remind you as well that XIAOMI has different suppliers for their AMOLED panels ? One is Tianma, one is Huaxing. Tianma is used for about 90% of its AMOLED panels, and it is also the inferior one out there

UncleKeepsVisitingMe, 08 Feb 2023I agree that AMOLED is, by nature, weaker and more prone to... moreNope, can't agree with you because that would mean Samsung's A-series has worse display than their flagship series. I mean yes, flagships have better displays, but that doesn't mean mid rangers have low quality displays which are more prone to burn-in. And that simply isn't the case.
Have you ever asked yourself, why most of the mid range phones that have AMOLED displays come with crap SoC and other components? Because majority of funds go for display so they fill the phone with the rest of the money.
Have you ever wondered, why MIUI comes with GBs of bloatware on every phone and ads as well, that's the way Xiaomi (and now other brands) finance the phone. They sell you phone for cheap, and then they continue getting revenue as long as you use it. Constant money flow. And with that earned money, they could spend more on displays.

Jemlim, 08 Feb 2023for those other users whose 'normal usage' is hea... moreNo. They need an SD card.
Flagship phones also come in 128GB / 256GB and sometimes 512GB
But what happens if 512GB is still not enough for normal usage ? Phones nowadays are powerful enough to emulate some consoles. I use my phone to play PS2 and Nintendo Switch games, and those roms vary from 4GB per game all the way to 38GB per game
My usage is "normal" for my case, I use my phone to browse, call, text, watch Youtube and emulation. So yeah, you may be fine with companies taking out phone features and ripping you off, but not me bro

Anonymous, 08 Feb 2023All kinds of (AM)OLED displays degrade over time and it doe... moreI agree that AMOLED is, by nature, weaker and more prone to burn ins. But there is a huge difference in manufacturing quality from AMOLEDs used by budget phones, and Top Tier AMOLEDs used in flagship phones
Budget phones with an AMOLED type screen have a significant chance of being susceptible to burn ins, wear and tear, and dead pixels compared to flagship AMOLED screen types. I don't think I even need to state this as that is general knowledge
Which is why it is best to supply budget phones with LCDs type panels. LCDs are not only significantly cheaper to manufacture and ship, but they have existed way longer in the market compared to AMOLEDs, and every OEM now has easy access to high quality LCD panels for general usage
Not to mention, again, how LCDs are inherently shaper than AMOLEDs. Full RGB LCD vs Pentile RGBG AMOLEDs
I would gladly sacrifice deeper blacks (AMOLED) for a sharper screen resolution and quality (LCD) any day
