Poco X4 Pro has also 6nm processor, with a better camera setup and better screen. Only advantage X5 pro has is probably one more software update. Poco X4 Pro is half the price. Both Poco X5s are downgrades from previous generation specs wise.

If Poco somehow managed to accommodate a Glass Back on the X5 Pro and come with Android 13 out-of-the-box, adding the n78 5G band & a microSD slot while removing the 'legendary' 2MP macro camera, this phone would have practically been Perfect! 👌

I have always been a Xiaomi lover but this Poco x5 series really disappointed me. Even Poco x3 pro has powerful chip as compared to x5 pro. They should have gone with atleast sd 865 or 888

Looks like they learned from their disaster phone X4 Pro by actually giving this decent specs and dropping the launch price from 350 ish dollars (X4 Pro) to 300 dollars for the X5 Pro if GSMArena's statement is true. 300 dollars seems decent because this thing makes no sense at 350 when the F4 and the higher end Redmi phones exist.
(Before any of yall comment about the 600dollars in the price tab, GSMArena themselves stated that the starting price for this is 300 dollars)
Now then, Xiaomi, please give us an X5 GT with something like a Dimensity 8200 or a SD888 for 300 dollars lol.

- headphone jack
- 5000 mAh battery (only has 4250 mAh)
- faster charging (33W only)
- 120Hz OLED (90Hz only)
So, whichever you buy, there's a compromise.

For me having a huge library of roms for game emulators, this is a huge letdown for not having a micro sd slot. I'll stick with my poco x3 pro for now.

Poco brand should take a huge hit on sales so they will stop issueing such medicocre specs for the price of a pixel 6 pro
