Anonymous, 21 Nov 2024Your story is too long, what's the point you're t... moreMy point is, the fact that this Poco X6 Pro 5G survives that much heating, it means there is no longer "deadboot" or "bootlooping" issue than the previous Poco X3 series where the issue is regarding heating causing the phone to shut off. This phone (Poco X6 Pro 5G) can truly withstand now so much heating and had a feature that disallows you to use the device for 3-5 minutes because the heat had reached at a certain level and if the heating still goes higher, the phone shuts off and empowers its liquid-cooling to avoid this "deadboot" from happening again.

I'm planning to buy a phone and I'm thinking on getting either Tecno Camon 30 pro 5G or Poco x6 pro 5G. I'm playing mobile legends and I also love taking pictures and just watching on tiktok. What should I get?

It should get hot as I saw it got hotter than other devices on a review comparing this one with other flagship like devices on intense tasks.
While average users shouldn't experience overheating problem, it is a fact that it gets hotter than average phone.

fromnear, 17 Nov 2024if it's true it's either hilarious or awesomeYes, it did happen. It happened when I was on a vacation leave. I was too occupied with other things going it and forgot my phone that I was planning to keep for 5 years. This phone is just awesome from learning what troubles its predecessors have experienced. I am still scared today thinking about what happened to my phone, lmao.

Anonymous, 13 Nov 2024That's one of the reasons why I went for samsung 😭🙏What? Xiaomi's Quick Charging uses a proprietary cable so changing it to a normal one will stop the fast charging.
Meanwhile, those overpriced S24U are stuck on 45W charging no matter what you do lmao.

Gerson, 03 Nov 2024Why? Does it really matter which is which is used in battery? Urban legend has it that Li-Po type is more reactive to heat than Li-Ion despite the basic similarities between them. Since this phone is known for the heat it produces (thanks for the slimmer design race which combined with rising high-performance SoC development and tripled by the slower battery technology development), many people succumbed into the "battery health" anxiety syndrome. That's why some other manufacturers started to use the new marketing strategy on battery warranty like what some of BBK's group done with their devices where they give around 4 years battery warranty. They provide free battery exchange if your current battery is going below 80% level before 4 years of normal usage.

I ditched the Z9 due to the lack of its stock OS' (Funtouch OS) features compared to its Chinese sibling (Origin OS) moreover with HyperOS (despite its love and hate controversy) which still more feature packed than Iqoo's funtouch OS. Even for the basic multitasking feature doesn't allow it to split screen all apps, including the "Settings" window. Not to mention in terms of hardware, hiding in plain sights are kinda 2024-2025 outdated UFS 2.2 and LPDDR4X RAM. Especially here Iqoo only released 12/256 maxed variant. It would be better if they provide 512 GB variant if they wanted to up the game against Xiaomi's X6 Pro, i will just ignore the older UFS model for larger capacity (X6 Pro despite its UFS 4.0 prowess still capped by its older USB 2.0 anyway, which limit the potential of its UFS 4.0 speed to internal usage only, not inter-device transfer like typical mobile to PC data transfer or backup). Shame that most Chinese manufacturers including Iqoo still segregated between Global and Chinese in terms of raw power configuration. Iqoo Z9 Turbo would be a tough challenger for Poco X6 Pro and even F6 should they release it here.
