        I'm guessing you have no more space either because of apps and games or because of photos, videos and music you have on your phone, just backup your photos and videos somewhere and delete them from the phone.

I went from ~80% to ~20% in about 1 hr 30 min. I don't think it was that bad before the update. All I did was read news websites on my phone and maybe watch some videos.

          That day I decided to buy a new phone and got Realme 14 Pro+ and I put my Redmi 10C into retirement. It was a good phone, but sadly its time had come.

              Today I received update MIUI-V14.0.10.0. TGEEUXM.

              I suppose this will be the last update for this model. I kind of wanted to see the last one being HyperOS and then buy a new phone.


              This one still works about as good as when I first bought it, only the battery drains a bit faster. I don't really have a reason to buy a new phone, but this one can soon have its security compromised due to lack of further updates.

              And the most annoying thing for this phone is that it can't have more than 1-2 apps running at the same time without restarting them when you go back to them. Everything else is great for the price.

My phone is working as good and fast as when I bought it in August 2022, only the battery has lost a tiny bit of capacity and drains a little bit faster, but nothing too noticeable.

                I was holding off on buying a new phone, but I might actually get a new one in the coming months if this is the last update. I'm still undecided if I should get a new Xiaomi or try a new Chinese brand like Realme, Vivo, Oppo, Infinix or something else. But for sure I'm going with Chinese phones from now on - they are cheaper and have specs that other overhyped and overprised brands like Samsung and Motorola offer at higher prices for zero reason. And finally - the Chinese ROMs look much more beautiful, vibrant and fun. I still remember Flyme OS on my Meizu in 2015, just the name was so cool and the UI and icons were so pleasing to look at and work with. Samsung's One UI is as dull and boring as the Stock Android. I remember Android 2.x Gingerbread - probably the last good looking Stock Android with icons that had innovative design with depth.

Do you think everyone will get the update at the same time? Also, I heard, the last update would be HyperOS on Android 13.

                          After almost three years of using it as main phone I have to admit it is quite good smartphone. i managed chipoff corner of display, threwn it in river, used it in -17 to +49 degree celsius and it still (3/2025) runs completely problemfree.

Developer settings is no root priviligeies no custom rom or bootloader unlocking. It only shows advanced setting which is not visible on stock settings. It is 100% security-risk-free. In worst scenario you can change BT codec or allow less apps running in background.

I i try to change th 1 x oom to .9 zoom it crashes. Night mode crashes. Portrait mode crashes. Configuration modes crashes. I do like the eraser option which it has and which disappeared from the 10c gallery editor option.

I came across you comment to 2/9/2025 and downloaded the Gcam apk. Took 5 sample pics with on on my 10c and all the pics are green. Much better camera apks are Footej and Soda camera apks.

My was set @ 3GB extention from factory and on reading your reply i turned it off and the reaction time of apks does seem to be a bit faster than when the extention was activated.
