Ok, it's been a few days since I used this phone, and here are my reviews.
Battery Life: First of all, battery life is not that bad, like people claim, and it is decent for its price.
Camera: You need really good lighting to capture good photos on this phone! Indoor shots are sucky, but outdoor shots are nice.
Sound: The worst part of this phone is the sound volume, which is too low.
There's a bit of a minor error, like the back key isn't working either.
Overall, this is a decent phone. If you are too low on budget, you can go for it, but if you can afford more money, I suggest you go for the Note series or other phone brands.

Sold this phone after using it for 1 month. Virtual proximity censor is very bad and sound quality and volume is too much low.

I recently by redmi 12 and facing some issues in this phone specially battery time is not very good on 90 Hertz. Also Foundation issue when enable face security option auto brightness mode automatically disable. I suggested to redmi management to improve and rectify these bugs from the software.

Auto brightness doesn't really work. Some of the apps can't be updated i.e. Google Messages or maybe other apps too. Some apps doesn't display over other apps while working on background for example Pathao Drive app. Neither there is always on display nor notification light. No pocket mode.

My Redmi Note 10 5g is more than two years old and the battery needed charging a bit too often . So I replaced that excellent phone with Redmi 12. Better piece of equipment overall but the battery performance is worse than my old phone! Maybe because there are more pixels and more storage bytes to manage.

I am facing video and reels lagging issue on Instagram and Facebook. Redmi 12 4g 8/128 variant with HyperOS android 14 global rom. Have tried every possible solution. But Facebook and Instagram is too much lagging.
