    Not all is bad though.
This one gets some extras that the predecessor skipped on:
Gorilla Glass, compass, (apparently) a physical ambient light sensor, a better selfie camera.

Nothing revolutionary, but helps it feel more complete.

Phone is too big for me, they shouldve kept it 6.4 or bellow inch.

Glad no more 32 or 64GB versions. It was awful.
8+256GB sounds interesting rest of the specs too.

A somewhat disappointing upgrade, considering this is Xiaomi. At least they sorted out the biggest annoyance of 12C, which was microUSB, it shouldn't have come with that in the first place.
Though I'm not that happy to see all phones just going for the same design language, the 12C looked quite unique and I like it, no matter how much fisher price toy that plastic back screamed.

Turns out it's just a downgrade from redmi 10c.

Snapdragon 680 to helio g85... Check the comparison and youll see it.

I don't know why these version are still relevant anymore. Do people still buy these?

rsdt, 11 Nov 2023You can't tell which one is better because you don... moreThe Redmi 10C has UFS 2.2 storage instead of the ancient eMMC 5.1, so that phone is miles ahead of this, and that's a fact, you don't have to have either phone to know that. As for the regular Redmi 10 (or Redmi 10 2022, Redmi 10 Prime/2022), while that phone also has eMMC 5.1, it has a much better camera setup and a slightly better SoC (Helio G88), and it's cheaper than the both the Redmi 10C and 13C.

The Redmi 12C and 13C simply have no place on the market.

Not to mention that the Helio G85 doesn't even support 50mp cameras, only 48mp at maximum, the G88 which is otherwise the same chipset does however support up to 64mp cameras.

The screen resolution 260ppi seems useless at this point, the base resolution should not go anything below 270ppi.

It starts to feel good having the Redmi 10C. Two more Redmi C released and they are both inferior. After being happy with the 10C, I was thinking to get the next C, but since both are worse, when the time comes to get a new phone, it will have to be a higher tier Xiaomi.

Currently the C series is a joke - garbage CPU and eMMC 5.1. Such a phone will be painfully slow just opening Settings and pullimg up the virtual keyboard. ROFL xD

Like my prediction, the xxc series always use low tier soc because it's position for bottom low end ( xxa series is gone ). Maybe Redmi 13 will use g99 anyway.

OMG, so Helio G88 was confirmed? This is worse than expected.

If it had at least G99, it would be like a Poco M5, but Lite version.
