So literally it's just slight small downgrade with Redmi 10C but with cool features that some regular users won't notice.

Xiaomi's Redmi making the design of 150-100USD phones, similar to upper midrange to premium midrange of models from Xiaomi, like Samsung A line.

So 13c with 6 gb ram is upgrade for me, G85 and emmc will nake it not futureproof though.

I am using Redmi 12C for nearly one year. This is the best device I believe I have ever used.No issue found with the device during the one year period and I recommend Redmi 12C for anyone who is planning to purchase a new unit from Redmi .Chipset battery life and camera are in excellent condition with this device and I have purchased another 12C unit for my wife as well. Thanks for reading my opinion.

Redmi 13c has a variant that has 8/256 with a dimensity chip.
Anyone aware of that version, and it's speed level?

What's the point of this phone if there's not a single excitement with this? 4g .. okay it's acceptable. But what about screen, processor or even memory types.. all are same old craps

It's just a regular phone like you refer to it, it's not a gaming phone.

While having lags can be an uncomfortable experience, I think most ppl buying these entry-level phones simply don't mind. They probably come from older entry-level phones that were even slower, so they already feel an upgrade.
Though I don't recommend going for 4GB RAM version on any MIUI phone, it really downgrades the experience. Choose a 6 or 8GB model for a decent usage.

My Opinions on The Redmi 13C
-The Cameras:
The Cameras are what you'll expect from a 100 Dollar Phone, a 50MP Main, 0.08MP Auxiliary Depth and 2MP Macro Camera Combo, Pretty Useless overall.
They could've gone for a 50MP Main and 5MP Ultrawide Camera Combo.
-Storage Options:
It's nice seeing a 256GB Storage config, but It's not nice keeping the 8GB RAM Option to the 256GB config, leaving the 128GB Config with either 4 or 6GBs.
-Chipset:
The Phone uses The Helio G85, which is a pretty underpowered chipset, I'm sure no one would ever want only 2.0GHz, but again, this thing is a $100.
Fun fact: Indians have it easy with a 2x Better Helio G99 Chipset, leaving us others with the underpowered G85.
Why a Helio G85? Why not something like a Dimensity 6100+? Or maybe a 6020? Are those components expensive?
-Display:
The Display used in this phone is 720p, in Comparison, many phones in this price range offer 1080p 90hz.
-Price:
115$ for the 4/128GB Variant Alone.
And 165$ for the 8/256GB Variant.
You know, just save up for a Redmi Note 12, I guarantee you're gonna get a better experience with this phone than The 13C.
