So i've been read all the reviews and almost all user opinions about this phone
Most the review about xiaomi redmi 1s almost: it's a good phone with upper average specification in his level and miui is superb,good battery quality in his level,killer price,bla bla bla. Meanwhile,i look user opinion, most people buying this phone said it's a laggish phone,battery drop fast,bad ram management,etc. in the other hand,some people says all the issues are wrong.
My conclusion about this phone:
1.) battery heat up on back cover is due to the processor. Xiaomi overclock it from 1.2 ghz to 1.6 ghz which causes heating up on back cover. Just root it and underclock it to 1.2 or 1.4 for saving your battery usage with cpu master.
2.) Lag/crash on multitasking. I think its happen because miui. Just be patient for waiting miui update to miui v. 6.0 beta in the end of the year. Hopefully multitasking problem will be solved by xiaomi. Remember,miui is developing ui and they always care with suggestions from users
3.) Ram management. Update to kitkat and miui v. 6 maybe can solved this prob.

Although i ain't have this phone,i've decided to buy xiaomi after i read everything about this phone. I think miui is developing ui and next year xiaomi maybe dominate asia and third world economic market

Hello Friends, Please clear my doubt.
click on tools icon-->updater-->it is showing MIUI JHCMIBF36.0(Stable) as a current version of MIUI on my phone. then click on menu button-->a list will appear. click on view available updates, then there is option of install later or update(544M).
Is my Redmi not running on MIUI 36 version?? (But it is showing MIUI 36 as a current Version and when i updated it after buying then file size was approx 22MB, and i updated it from 34 to 36.
So, what is this 544M?? Is there any need to download it or not? Or it Plays some important role in processing of phone, Free Ram Availability or battery Life?
Please clear my doubt.. Thanks in advance!!

Battery comes with in the box is Lithium-polymer battery and it is not Li-ion battery mentioned in the spec

Enable permission manager then go to the camera permission then allow permission to skype and viber

recently i got redmi 1 by flipkart. My four day experience with redmi 1 is not good. now i want to share my observation with all my friends . In Redmi1 I have found two problems one of is its bettery life is very poor whenever we use internet surfing its drain very fast within 2 hours . And second is if we connect pc with redmi1 its language is chinese. if you know chinese its ok. Now finally i decide to return it. So please donot trap by xiomi marketing strategy .

Hi.. i bought Xiaomi redmi 1s recently. I have installed Skype, Viber but i'm not able to do video call with any of them. but front camera is working for Selfi but not for video call. I checked all settings also. Please suggest me.

As other mobile like Enable 3G or mode= dual /2g / 3G
i haven't seen such option in this mobile

1. On your phone, find and launch the Security app.
2. Tap Permission > Manage App Permission > Privacy
3. Find Use michrophone and ensure the permission is Allow. If not, just change it to Allow.
4. Now, you can refresh and check it will working now :)
