no radiation problem
no hanging
good camera
good battery backup
more value for money 6000

This phone is too good to use. But the only problem I am finding is my friends watsapp contact name is not displaying though I have the numbers saved at my contact list. The msgs are coming in watsapp but name is not displaying who have sent me the msgs. I Have done every possible try but still its not displaying. Any suggestion you guys can give?

vicky, 18 Sep 2014i got xiomi redmi 1 s on 11 sept..the phone is not good so ... moreIn order to resolve delayed notification of messaging apps like whatsapp, viber etc. you need to keep them "in memory". Try this:
Press and hold Menu key, it show the current in-memory apps, hold and slide down the app which you want to keep in-memory always. Once u do this a lock icon will be displayed over tht app icon.
This is a MIUI feature and it should resolve the issue.

I brought this phone last week and its seems great, I never see such features and facility and stylish with this price tag of 6K in any other brand. The performance is good and having many additional feature where other high end phones does not have.
Few bugs need to resolve by Xiaomi - Heating issue when we talk more than 15 to 20min(I think this because of Quad-core processor). Multitasking - its seems little slow compare to Moto G. Battery life - seems 8 to 10hrs on normal usage. RAM utilization in normal usage turn to keep Loading Launcher.
The call quality thru 3G is very good and sound effect is also excellent, when you use branded headphones the sound clarity is amazing. The camera is also good. Overall if Xiaomi works on fixing the Bugs and upcoming issue with latest update - this smartphone will be really a smart one for all.

i got xiomi redmi 1 s on 11 sept..the phone is not good so i adviced the buyers to not book the phone..
issues
failed to initialize camera error message after installing viber.
no incomming calls from viber and skype..
when i tried calling other phone to redmi from viber i had to put on the power button then only incomming calls received..in lock screen no incomming calls from vibe..
incomming message delaed it takes time to receive messages .
i had reset to factory fitting but dont work..
plz dont buy this phone..
any solution to this problem post message
