The phone specification given is good with this range but there are lot of problem with the phone. There is no mirroring for the front camera.The quality of back camera is not god as it mention 8 Megapixel.Corporate email cannot be configured.There is constant flickering when an app is opened even the battery,network and all the top menu can be seen at the bottom of the phone.The locking and unlocking of the phone is problematic.

I'm happy... moreIs it? mmmm...., I have this phone for 2 days already and indeed there were few situations where I thought it was a signal problem since my calls will just go off. I'm using this cellphone for more than five days. I'm happy with the performance but feels irritates with Call problems sometime it gets hang or don't show whether call is being connecting or not.
It get struck at calling time rest of the things is acceptable at this price.
If anyone know how to solve calls issue on this problem just let me know.

Please do factory reset once and on nex... more thank you for youe opinion,, i have no problem with battery and heating of redmi 1s because i know verry well tha every phone heats while playing game , usb tethring, 3g internet use ,camera use for long time. so redmi 1s is working like same phone.. so i have no issue.
my problem is app get closed when switch over to another app. i removee the unwanted app ane placed some app in auto start mode bur nothing happned and problem persist like before.. i think placing app in auto satart is not a good idea because it eat more ram. amd consume more battery. my phone show 389 mb free ram after just boot and then after some time it reached to 200 mb without openning any app by my self and after use of some app it varrys from 70 to 175 mb free ram. why not you do the test your phone according to as i posted earlier and show the results. rhank you.. any help highly appreciated. frequent crashing or restarting browser can cause more data useg and cost more.

i am using it. its a awesome phone. only thing u need to do is check updates. there will be one update available immediately after purchase. update it and see. till then there will be some problems. but after update working beatifully

They will not use ram before you open them.
This was solution if downloads or music apps stop when phone sleeps.
For more free RAM disable auto update and auto scanning of Security apps.

i used this phone for one week, pls dont buy this its waste of money. heating problem, battery drains in 3 hrs use, when we call screen looks in contacts but call we connect, hangs very frequently i returned this phone to flipkart and asked for exchange they said no for exchange but providing new set. not buy at all this phone

Please do factory reset once and on next boot check all apps for crash.
For Battery , security app->Power->Battery Configuration add new configuration and select cpu usage as battery saving and configure other settings
For Low Memory, remove face book and other unwanted app.
Disable inbuilt xiaomi apps seen under security app by disabling auto update and check RAM after reboot.
For me it gave around 350 to 400M as i use it i get around 280M free most of the time and the heating got controlled a lot now my device gets heated to 32-34 on 2g browsing with auto brightness.
