Redmi 1S is a good phone in the price but the most troubling feature is its 3G data. Even in the presence of 3G signal the internet speed is very slow. Most of the apps can not be downloaded at this speed and many of the downloaded apps do not work like IRCTC, facebook, etc.

I got my redmi yesterday phone is awesome but heating is a issue so need help to get no heating problems.I went to security save new profile for saving battery .it not working better.Please help me any on heating issue & battery .

Heating issues will going to be solved soon with an update
I used to have lumia 520 it also have heating problems but after the amber update it was completely gone
so don't worry just wait for an update ...!!

It heats up while charging and when playing games.
And battery lasts 4hrs max if continuously using internet or games.
I am using it and i don't mind both problems because its fast and smooth.

people, i have got it in my cart.. please suggest i should buy it or not. Many saying that the phone is having serious heating issue and battery problem. Also on flipkart people have complaint about battery issue and heating. please help. i should buy or discard the phone.

I'm using this phone from 1 week...
Guys this phone has disappointed me with very poor battery life and heat. If you'll leave fully charged phone idle for whole night just with 2G data enabled, 40% of battery will be discharged, at 3G it drains even faster. If you will play games for 1 hr battery will drain almost 60-70% and phone will be very hot. So you may need to charge it twice in a day if you will use it for 2-3 hours.
It heats when you will do anything that involves data to be used. No matter what you are doing, if you are playing candy crush for 10 min you can't call directly from phone because of heat.
Build quality and screen resolution is really good, almost no lag in MIUI with few crashes.
BUT BATTERY LIFE AND HEATING ISSUE IS SOMETHING THAT MAKES IT HARD TO USE, I'VE TO CARRY ANOTHER PHONE AS I CAN'T CHARGE IT EVERYWHERE I GO.

one thing I noticed is that while taking pictures using front camera the photos doesn't get flipped. it stays as a mirror image. I find it little annoying.
Other thing is that this not good for multi tasking. even music player gets closer if you are browsing with 2

I'm a heavy gamer .... Not satisfied with this phone's performance ..
Everything's great but not the performance....
I had xolo q700s previously which is 7477/- which had 700mb of free ram. Any big like asphalt 8,rr3,igau,six guns work without a struck.
Got this phone in first sale but not satisfied.
And also heating issue and battery is below avg.
