I got my hands on the phone on Saturday AM.
It came with 63% battery charged.
I switched off the mobile and charged to 100% using the charger that came along.
It charged to 100% in less than one hour.
I am not an avid gamer and don't browse that frequently, nor do i have 3G data connection.
I installed few business apps and i felt there is bit of heating issue during installation.
I didn't face any heating issue during calls, though I didn't speak for more than 10 mins in a single call.
I think there is some issues with reception and transmit seems to be fine, as other end were able to hear me very clearly.
After occasional browsing, calls, installing applications my battery is still 58%.
I will wait till it drains to 0% before charging again.
I think it is a pretty decent phone that can do the job of calls, messages, occasional browsing, light games etc, but can't move heavy loads.
I think low available memory is a concern. I did disable some default applications including Flipkart.
My phone came with 36.0 and I am not planning to upgrade to 37.0 until it is officially available as OTA.

i purchased this fon from flipkart in 9th sep sale and recieved on 12th sep.
Great camera,No lag at all,just a wonderful device to buy in 6000....
U cant get better than this

of course wallpaper can be changed. and themes can be changed too with Themes app.
and yes we can change network type to gsm only, umts preferred or umts only.

I alos purchased Xiomi Red1S. I have an issue when i download from google paly store and it shoe this error
Error while retrieving information from server [RPC: S-3: AEC-0].
Can anybody assist to fix this as i have used all the methods

the phone rings after 3-4 sec for unknown numbers.
this can be changed in dialer settings.
open phone app-use left button to open settings-select call settings-incoming call settings-mute unknown numbers to off.

i used other charger than the one provided with phone. it made phone hang when i opened settings. i guess we should stick to its own charger only.
i used samsung 700mA charger which i use to charge all phones in my home.
xiaomi charger that came with phone is 2000mA. it full charge phone in 1hr. no other phone i used gets charged this fast.

Guys after updating heat s reduced. If u long press left end button u can free ram size. In low ram too phone speed s excellent. I used continuous three hours 3g net then still battery s 25%
