This handset has mind blowing Features and very attractive all the functions.
It is totally value for money and i like this handset very much..
But problem is when I use it for long time the back side(Nearly primary camera portion) the mobile gets heat.

I have ordered the mobile through Flipkart but very much disappointing with Redmi 1s Performance as most waited phone but again not more than a scrap. Never suggested to buy.
Cons:
1. Poor battery backup.
2. Over heating[not managable]
3. App Crashing
4. Phone is running very slow sometime
Pros:
1. Good set of Features.
2. MIUI is very much used to.
Regret for buying and requested for return.

AnonD-305946, 14 Sep 2014some dark cpots in my display its fine or either i replace ... moreClick a full resolution image either HDR or not, but I suggest HDR, click in broad daylight, then go back to images and see if your screen really has dark spots, if you don't find it on the image, that means it has no problem and only your illusion.

I had bought it through flipkart...
Ma set it heating so much.. And drains more battery... Plz suggest me some suggestions... Plz.... Otrwise I wil be in regret....

Received my Redmi 1s yesterday, and tis is my 3rd smartphone after Micromax Canvas 90s and
canvas 2, so I have upgraded spects wisebut saved a lot of money....
First thing is its no way looks 6k phone atlesast feature wise its 13 k phone, people expecting it to perform like experia z or iphone 5s but freinds its entry level phone..
I am not into gaming that much, but temple run, candy crush saga works well, no heating issue running 36.0 rom,still not updated 37.0 rom which lets you store photos directly to SD card as waiting for OTA update...
screen and display camera is awesome in day light, in night photography not comarable to zenphone 5 but 4k less so no complaint, Ram is enough for me running 6-7 apps in bacgroung still 122 mb ram available (but I used to 512 mb ram phones and frequnt ram cleaning, if you have used higher end phones might be difficult for you)
but the best thing is MIUI which provide so many options to user, you can customize whole your phone, you can uninstall in build application, stop net access for any application and can get rid from annoying advertisements ..so many cool features and frequwnt updates every monts, I am loving it..

I have recieved mu redmi1s but whene i start wifi at my college ground floor,1st,2,3,4 floor but wifi capture only 2 floor instead all another so i have bad experience for wifi connection. i need solution for better connectivity.

I got my redmi 1s from flipkart recently(India). I've found it to be an excellent device.The build quality is good,screen is very crisp and the color reproduction is impressive. So is the camera quality.
The miui runs smoothly too. Overall, a very good product.
The bugs i've noticed so far:
1. The music player crashes when the browser is being used. They just cant run at the same time.
2.Games with high graphics crash after a while of playing(i understand this deice is not built to handle high end games).

I am using this phone for 2 days.
Sometimes when u make a call phone gets crashed.I haven't expected the great performance from it but at least it should do what it supposed to do.i.e basic calling. Also It has heating problem. Though camera is Good.

[deleted post]All apps once open will be open as long as you kill them from the task killer tray. To access this tray you need to long press the menu key (left most button below the screen). you also get to kill all apps from there unlike other android phones.
