Today i got my 1s and when i open the box i feel wow in 5999rs this phone is awesome.after using half day here is my small review.
Camera is awesome rear and front both are superb.
Audio is bit destroying when volume full.
Battery backup is very nice i played continue 10 level of candy crush and its consume only 15% battery
App processing is very fast and smooth.
when i got mobile its get heat within an hour but after after updating it the heating problem is gone forever so don't worry about heating its fixed now.
and last you are getting almost 14-15k mobile in just 6k.
go ahead and buy if you planing.

I have been using it for 2 days and still wonder how to see all the apps and tabs opened for multitasking... Other android phones still shows all the apps and games unless and until we close it...but in xiaomi redme 1s, as soon as we open the new app the later disappears forever... where do we see the other applications i opened?? or they closed already when i open another??? Please help

Heating. Call app crashing stopped after update. Only problem I'm facing was a signal drop on my TATA DOCOMO Sim. Else that everything was fine till now.

Using this phone since last two days. The phone hangs while calling or receiving a call. It seems that call app is crashing.
Other than this it seems pretty ok

I have got my new Redmi 1s yesterday. Phone is nice and looks decent. i used it all function and found, the phone worthy for Rs. 6,000/-. Screen is not very bright but when you switch off AUTO mode, its brightness will increase. Camera is ok in comparison of Micromax and other indian brands but flash is not very weak. Front camera is very good, and vedio recording is fine. i have loaded so many applications and games...temple run running without any problems. on battery heating issue, i didn't feel as reviewed here.i.e. Overheated during call or charging or internet use. Battery is working nicly 24 hours, when you use average game, internet, music and call. User interface is very user-friendly and decent. Don’t confuse with wrong reviews, it is good phone and better than any other china made indian brand….

Hey, someone please tell me, does sim slot 1 runs 3G from GSM sim cards like Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Smart 3G and other GSM networks. Because on the Xiaomi website and on Flipkart they have mentioned that sim slot 1 is for WCDMA 3G which would be Tata Indicom or plain Reliance or MTS etc.

Specs are better t... moreif you are able to browse internet at least 5 hour in my vew your phones battrey back up is good. read the word im my vew because i allready told that i have used many phones so not any phone which i used provide hattry Backup of 6 hour of internet browsing..even my beloved xperia of 35 k.. happy to hear. :) i was thinking redmi 1s is providing 1- 2 hour of net browsing... i will be happy if it is giving 4- 5 hour continuous back up... anyway thanx for update..

Specs are better t... morehi, i am watching mixed reviews here. i want a smartphone for gaming purpose. so i want to know that daes it supports heavy games like asfault 8 and mordern combact 4 , if yes then hows the performence and graphics while playing these games, and hows battery performs while playing games. and overall hows the phone performs in everyday tasks.
is it having any other kind of problem.please give me all information.

Yes this phone heats up more than other phones.
But its fast.
I played asphalt 8, and other heavy games without lag.
This phone has poor battery backup. Max 4-5 hours of internet browsing at full charge
A good powerbank will take care of this problem.
If anyone think this is poor phone and poor brand, then buy good brand phone like sony, samsung which will cost more than double.

Hi All,
Using this phone since 2 days....Touch I feel is better than Samsung (quite smooth)...batter drains faster...camera is good...it shows less ram however it does not seems to be an issue for normal operations like hanging of phone when required..battery heating is there but every smartphone heats...overall I can say it's value for money...what else can you expect in INR 6000/-..Anyways Xiaomi is world 5th largest seller of smartsphone....will update more after more usage.

Its because of built-in apps like facebook, google apps etc that run in background.
All apps will run when you open them. Android OS automatically kills background apps to free ram for currently opened app.
No need for task killers like clean master. Android basic ram management is good enough.

my fone also got heating issue . and the battery drain at that time is high. while using wifi or using internet on internet calls its terrible. the battery wont last a day while on internet.the xiomi pc suit app is only in there language , someone please help me to change it to english language.

my redmi is showing only 170-200MB of RAM free, is there same is showing in all or is there anyone whoes phone is showing 300+MB RAM is free
