AnonD-305955, 12 Sep 2014Does Anyone Feels any smell (may be like due to heating of ... moreYa i have got my Xiaomi redmi 1s today..I hav switched on it after inserting sim n memory card ..I hav used it aprrox 2 hrs and when battery was about to exhaust i connected it for charging...Now my phone is smelling a lot as u told and not switching on...........even i have used its own Xiaomi charger.

Guys i got this phone yesterday from flipcart...and tell u this phone is worth more than what i have paid...everything is up to the mark..camera,display ,speaker ,build quality..and miui..its super smooth..with no serious issues..tried playing few videos and games everything works smooth..no battery drain issue and no heating issue..for those who dont know how to deal with android there are problems as always..
1. Keep the brightness as low as possible.
2. Use 2G network when u dont need data.
3. Wifi drains battery very less than 3G
4. Dissable unwanted apps and uninstall those google apps that are not required.
5. Play more with costomizations and set those as per ur requirements.

Having issues with voice call.. The other party can hear me but i can't hear them.... Tried restarting but to no avail.. Anyone able to advise?

Pen drive can be connected with OTG cable.
Use ES File Explorer app from play store. It can open any pen drive even in NTFS format.
I bought OTG cable for Rs60. It works great.

I think its acceptable at this price. Front camera for selfies is good.

hello friends please help... i own redmi 1s... i searched alot on internet and all the forums were praising the camera of this phone but the image quality is not upto the mark in my unit... and it looks that the lens is little displaced in my phone is this same to every one? also i noticed that the images are not sharp in pics its quality is less than the 5mp camera pls pls tell is this same with all or just i am having this problem....
