str, 25 Sep 2014My redmi 1s front glass gets broken into pieces but display... moreI purchased this phone for Rs.6000. Working fine.Upgraded Fine. After 5 months, my Redmi 1s front glass gets broken accidentally but, display is working clearly without a crack. I went to MI care Center in Coimbatore,India. I'm asking for replacing the front-glass of my Redmi 1s. They told me that they cannot provide the front-glass but with display and it costs around Rs.4300. So,this replacement comes around 72% of the phone's original cost of Rs.6000. So, as a pathetic customer I consider myself "Ok.This Xiaomi product also a use and throw phone like other Chinese phones". I had spent Rs.6000 and MI cover for Rs.375 So I've to use it with broken glass and heart. I purchased it through flipkart.com sold by WS Retail. They have no responsibility of after sales. Bye !!!

This phone is average.I use to give this 3 stars why because after downloading WhatsApp,whatsapp contacts are not showing properly...

Finally flashed (Un Official/stable) cm12 based on Android L for my Redmi 1S everything working fine but sound and camera need to improve otherwise everything working like a charm

Even I am facing the same issue after version upgrade my battery was not charging in the place and I had to restart.. Now it is charging and takes a very long time to charge and drains quickly.. Team xiomi pls let us know how to fix it?
