today i got Redmi S1 from flipkart, and i got an update of 512 mb, i have updated it but an ZIP folder of 515 mb has been created in my phone memory,so what i will do with the ZIP folder ,,can u plz suggest me...

abinav, 30 Jan 2015 it has been only 1 week and I found a lot of defects in it... morePls go to inbuilt system app security and then disable permissions. After that Whatsapp contacts will be synchronized.

if u want battery backup. first root your phone. download and instal no frills app from play store.then open no frills -> governor-> and select power save option and then apply.thats all. but only one problem phone goes little slow. you con use phone one full day.

Be careful.
Xiomi sold tons of redmi 1s.
After using it for 4 months here is my review.
Pros-
Low cost,good hardware, comfortable to grip,smooth operations, miui ui is solid and useful,good cameras.
Cons-
1-screen-Though screen is HD,its very dull,very poor than my old Nokia lumia 520 having 400×800 resolution, not sharp.
2-Weight-apx 160 gm.bulky in hands.
3-battery hungry, I have to charge it twice a day with mild to moderate use,with no WhatsApp,no downloads.
4-suddenly deleted my important photos.Its serious.
5-security is suspicious.
6-what about service centers.
7-for 4.7 inches screen,its large one.
Conclusion-not recommended.
If u want better phone go for asus, which is reliable.
Lenovo also launched a 6000,no idea about it.
Wait for March asus zenfone2 will clear the scene.
