heating problem,lack of ram.it seems that this problem always exist with the users.correct me if i am wrong,is this a game-made smartphone? i'm on my way to pick this phone.i'm a light user,maybe take some couple of picture,a 1 hour surf through the net,play some videos,maybe a 30 minutes of music,NO GAMES (i'd rather play on my game console or PC)couple of calls,SMS,no 3G, it's plainly a phone that takes/makes call,send SMS,take a picture/video,surf the net.the question is,will this RE-EXISTING issues will occur? PLEASE LET ME KNOW THOSE WHO OWNS THIS PHONE.thank you :)

i m not able to tranfer my contact to whats app account as after copying in sim as well as in mi cloud its does not show contact in whats app

Redmi 1s is totally great. If I were you. Don't listen to the negative comments. Its exaggerated. And I've been using this for a month and it works good. :)

positive:
1. Call quality is good.
2. Display
3. Camera
4. UI of SW
5. Supports all kind of video formats
Negatives:
1. Only 30% ram is available
2. Heating up ( for continuous usage )
3. Charging ( for continuous usage )
If your are a continuous usage user then think a moment
else your are normal usage user it is BEST MOBILE under this 6k

tetea, 12 Jan 2015people are complaining about the ram whats wrong with it?ram is always busy without any software (except whatsapp) installed.... and without any game installed in phone... very frustrating..

i'm using this phone for a month and i'm tired of it...camera and battery is quite OK but RAM, ram is always busy without any game or heavy software(just whatsapp) installed.. that is very frustrating.. and resulting lag and unable to multitasking...
DON'T BUY IT...

As CHINA can create cell phones WITHOUT IMEI numbers then It is possible that they can sold the phone that hacks the data of every customer that uses MADE IN CHINA phones like REDMI

tetea, 12 Jan 2015people are complaining about the ram whats wrong with it?tell them for 6k don't expect 2gb ram... it has 1gb ram and multi tasking is good excellent camera quality. for ur money u won't get disappointment. and if ur budgest is more u can go for asus zenfone 2 yureka redmi note 4g zenfone 5 or moto g2 u will get so many options.. just choose what u want
