I am using since last month, There is no heating or hang problem after update stable version 45.
This is one of the best mobile in this low price.
I must recommended to buy this phone.

1. When I pair the phone with my car audio, I am not able to dial from the car. It says unable to connect. After 1min, the phone dials automatically and connects to the car system using bluetooth
2. while playing subway surfer(with wifi off), the phone heats up a lot.
3. While using wifi to browse play store also it heats up.
Have updated to latest 45 version. Still the above problem exists...anyone has solution?....pls help

hai iam using this mobile for last two months all are too good no drawbacks on anything till the installation of skype and viber for video calling things when i try to video chat the front camera shows error try all things but in selfie it works good please let me know if any one has solution in it.

after using redmi 1 my gmail id was hack and some one send 94 thousand mail from my id this phone is not give any security.
all mail are same type given link click on it.
my all contact receive same mail from me.
8 nov in morning 2 am to 9 am they send thousand of mail from my gmail id pls

Almost a month since I got the phone. Before the update I had problems with music force closing when I had 2 tabs open in chrome. Now multitasking is better. I feel the update
Has fixed the heating issue somewhat. My mom has a moto g(1st gen) and when compared I don't see much difference in performance. Camera is awesome and the price brilliant! Fruit ninja, subway surfers lag I little now and then. Switching between apps is smooth and miui has so many securities option like restricting data for a particular app, guest mode etc. The screen is disappointing outdoors. Very reflective. Power button is damn easy to use. Battery life is a little disappointing but I'm hoping KitKat update might help. We're getting that update. It's just a matter of time. You're in India? Low budget? Need an awesome phone? Redmi 1s is for you. Why is better than other alternatives and even better than android one phones? Camera! Price!
Performance! Miui! 6k! I've heard rumors that the company is working on a 4k phone with HD display. Damn!

v45.0 drains battery very quickly. You get just 60-90 mins of talk time. This mobile needs 2 times a day charging in moderate use.
No Gujarati fonts installed so you cannot see stuff in Gujarati in web pages or Facebook for Android app and other apps too.
Bulky phone in its size.
No official English PC Suite available.
You cannot use other mobile's charger. If used, it will charge at 25% than original charger.
Runs smoothly after one week of moderate use.
Comes with Android 4.3 which uses more ram. No Official confirmation for Lollipop/Kitkat update.
