Anonymous, 14 Feb 2017Redmi 3s primeOnly Redmi 3s 16GB/2GB for Indian market (made in India), don't have fingerprint sensor. Chinese version Redmi 3s 16GB/2GB, and 3s Prime/pro 32GB/3GB both have fingerprint sensor.

FOR ALL Redmi 3S owners: Take a good look at your phone before buying it. Mine was a genuine phone with fake android. I had 2 viruses: file manager and weather apps. The phone was stuck on MIUI7.x, no updates available. The viruses can be detected with kaspersky antivirus (it's free, no account needed)
I tried to unlock the bootloader, didn't work (stuck at 50%). I tried to update the system manually (from android and form recovery), no success.
I managed to flash MIUI8 Global downloaded from official website using the flashing tool from Xiaomi by following tutorials from youtube. Now everything is ok, no viruses, recovery menu works, bootloader unlocked.

Best mobile in comparison to the price level and specifications nd the battery backup of redmi 3s is really original 4100 mah nd the camera quality nd resolution of this mbile is too high den oppo nd other mobiles... must buy if u r willing to buy
