Finally after using R3S for 33 days yesterday morning I upgraded my phone to miui 8.1.1. Battery improvement camera too.

At last after using R3S for 32 days today morning I upgraded it to miui 8.1.1 . Some 680 mb file size through OTA. Lots of features are added in it I will let you guys know after exploring it properly.

Been trying to update to MIUI8 on my redmi 3s, in order to enjoy the new features but didn't get an OTA update, even after going to the update app to check for updates manually, I went ahead to download a global stable ROM on en.miui.com, went to the update app and tried the chose update package, still didn't work, any help with this please, I live in Nigeria. BTW I think it has to do with me being unable to boot to recovery mode

phone is really good,but there is a minor issues of using two slot either we can use SD card or sim for one slot.

Hi,I have bought a red mi in November.
I got a message to update.
But after updation the unlocking password not working.
Even my fingerprint also not working.
mobile struck for 1 day. I have called the call centre.
They told it's a soft Ware problem.
They advised to give it in red mi service centre. And the service is free.
I bought it in Khammam.
They told to go hyd.
And I went to madapur service centre beside police station.
i was shocked to see many customers with the same complaint.
on 16_1_2 017 nearly 20mobiles with same complaint.
They received the mobile as wrong password made by us.
And also collecting 180rupees from each. So dear friends the red mi mobile is waste and worst.
Service so also not good.
I have last my data after correction with new software.
They wasted our time.
There is much loss for many customers like me.
So please don't buy red mi.
They are cheating us.
Please ignore my comments if anyone likes red mi.
