Bought this phone 2 months ago.at first I was sceptical since I never owned anything els than a Nokia,Samsung or Huawei but this phone suprised me.Never have I ever had a phone with such amazing battery life.I get between 3 and 6 days battery life.I admit I am not heavy social media user.mostly media listening and watching and occasional social media.For a budget phone great phone.screen resolutin not the best but is to be expected at this price point.

Worst One. I have purchased for my mom. The Ads are irritating.. I couldn't disable the wallpaper carousel. If i disable, when swiping left, it asking tom turn on. we cannot move with out turning on. I hate xiaomi......

I know Indian market is huge but this is absurd to change camera module on international variants and charge same money. I can't tell how horrible this camera is with slow dull f2.2 with pathetic colors.
And it says G.Glass 5 my phone got scratches in 2 days .. I am sure GG 5 is also reserved for Indian markets.

I have no complaints in this price range the phone has amazing battery, but there is one BIG lie about its camers it is NOT IMX363 F1.8 by Sony instead it uses omnivision sensor with F2.2
I am from Pakistan and have checked 2 phones both use omnivision sensor. I would like others to check this by CIT menu, *#*#64663#*#* in dialer then version information scroll down for back camera its omnivision 13b10_i
How can they lie about camera being imx363 i wondered how have they fitted a high end camera in such device moreover almost all of Indian reviews claimed it being Sony sensor. Let me know if its some regional thing specially someone from India.

Ca... moreAlright. Using the spp I can only see the level 3 is ticked but the others (full, limited and legacy) are all crossed.

The phone is rubbish. the UI is worst the phone is not strong at all just a drop at the back with the phone case camera got broken now I can't sell it anymore am very annoyed. Nokia 3.2 has better camera quality than the 8a. My Nokia was stollen before I bought this phone. I should have bought Nokia again.

Camera2 API Probe app lets you check it. If FULL or Level 3 is ticked, then it supports Gcam.
Gcam makes camera quality much better than Stock Camera.

When there's some light, the picture turned out just fine.
However, if the ai mode was deselected, the picture turmed out alright even the shooting area was dark.
