Saif SR , 06 Dec 2022MIUI 12 & 13 is the best operating system Miui 12 have battery drain issue,
Miui 13 have heavy gui issue for budget phones (a1).
Miui 14 should be no issues.
Now I'm using galaxy a23 because samsung closely works with google and amd graphics for their feature phones. Samsung is better for privacy and security and os updates support for 3 years for even budget phones also.
Galaxy phones quality is great nowadays. Now I like galaxy.

I didn't enjoy using the Redmi A1 Plus in Pakistan. at least as I used the Redmi 9a before that and it was much better.miui 12 is better than the Redmi A1 Plus operating system . I dont like and don't enjoy the android go edition 👎🏼

I bought this @ 20,000 PKR but found that there is no MI Accounts log in option in that and as its does not support MI HENCE WE CAN NOT RECOVERED OUR BACKUP ON MI CLOUD. Its just a simple android phone no MI apps like aap lock, display speed, bettery saving options a lot more we love for MI phone.

I bought mine yesterday and and after updating it with system update which is up to 1.56gb to be sincere the phone is much better at this price range compare to what other OEM are selling to us here in Africa which is full of bloatware. Just don't install much of heavy apps ment for full android on this phone

Unfortunately we don't get answers from the questions asked here by different users and it becomes hard to decide whether to go for xiaomi brands or not especially for the new users like me! We're remaining wit unanswered opinions from xiaomi or product makers! My question is; are they there for reading comments or assisting customers?

This miui is heavy for this spec, if xiaomi gives pure android go version for this phone then this a1 or a1 plus is good and so many apps are pre installed with this phone and we can't uninstall it and battery also drain fast for somany apps run in background (eg: xiaomi cleaner , xiaomi feedback) for camera there is mic privacy is missing and no indicate in top corner.

Redmi 5A has helio A22 but a lot of smoothness.
